We're glad to share a glimpse into one of our recent project cargo moves — transporting two Kalmar diesel forklifts from Germany to Ukraine.

Moving equipment of this scale is never as simple as driving it onto a trailer. Each forklift was partially disassembled: the main units travelled on two lowbed trailers, while the removed components went on three standard tarpaulin trucks.

The main unit of each forklift alone reached impressive transport dimensions:
- Length: 6,900 mm
- Width: 4,600 mm
- Height: 4,100 mm

At 4.6 m wide and 4.1 m high, this is firmly oversized cargo — well beyond standard road limits — calling for special transport permits and carefully planned routes all the way to Ukraine.

Loading was where the real craft showed. The lowbed's gooseneck was detached so the deck could be lowered and the forklift rolled onto its lowest section. Heavy timber dunnage was then laid across the deck, the gooseneck reconnected and hydraulically raised — lifting the deck back to travel height with the machine now seated firmly on the dunnage, resting on its own axles and secured for the road.

Thanks to our team's expertise and dependable partners, every oversized and heavy component was handled with the utmost care and delivered safely. Whatever the size or destination, we make sure it arrives.

We're still working through the follow-ups — which is the best sign we could ask for of how active the show was for us.

Our focus this year: project cargo, the Middle Corridor, and developing our reach across Ukrainian and Eastern European markets. The conversations we had on all three were exactly the ones worth having.

Now comes the real part — turning everything discussed on the show floor (and at the endless after-parties) into cargo actually moving.

Vasyl stopped by the office. He serves as a Senior Sergeant in a company of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, and he is one of two members of our team currently serving in the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

He came to see us and brought a gift we won't forget: a flag of Ukraine carrying the insignia of his brigade and of his own unit — Primus, part of the 1st Assault Battalion.

It now has its place in our office, where everyone can see it — a daily reminder of the people who make our work, and our lives, possible.

To have this flag on our wall, and to have Vasyl as our colleague, is a true honour. To him, and to everyone standing on the line so the rest of us can keep going: thank you.

Yesterday we joined the annual networking lunch hosted by CLC Projects & Cross Ocean, the networks for out-of-gauge and heavy-cargo forwarders and carriers. It's become a tradition: a chance to see familiar faces, meet new partners, and ease into the wild rhythm of the exhibition week ahead.

Our team attended GREEN ENERTECH and the International Industrial Forum in Kyiv, joining hundreds of professionals from across the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

What stood out immediately was the scale of participation – exhibition halls were completely filled with stands, equipment, and industry professionals. Finding free space was harder than finding people to talk to.

Perhaps even more importantly, the events attracted strong international participation. Representatives of foreign businesses, including companies from China, came to Kyiv to present their solutions, explore opportunities, and build new connections. Despite the challenges Ukraine continues to face, international companies are still coming here to meet partners, understand the market, and look for ways to develop business together.

We met with long-standing clients, discussed ongoing projects, established new contacts, and had open conversations with companies actively looking for logistics partners who can support industrial, infrastructure, and energy-related cargo flows.

A productive few days in Kyiv and a strong reminder that business development, international cooperation, and investment in Ukraine continue to move forward.

𝐔𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

We participated in the Ukrainian Transport Forum 2026 in Odesa – one of the key industry events bringing together top specialists involved in Ukrainian logistics, maritime operations, infrastructure development, and international transportation.

This year’s discussions focused on topics the market is already dealing with in practice: security of the maritime corridor, logistics digitalization, AI, customs simplification, port infrastructure, and changes in international shipping.

One of the strongest takeaways from the forum was a simple reminder: offline industry events still matter. A lot of operational insights, market signals, and real discussions happen exactly there – in conversations between people who work with these challenges every day.

For our team, the most interesting part was the section dedicated to digitalization, automation, and AI solutions in logistics. The industry is clearly moving toward faster processes, better visibility, and more integrated operational control – and it is important to understand not only the technology itself, but how it can realistically work inside logistics operations.

Always valuable to be part of conversations shaping the future of transport and logistics in Ukraine.

Another delivery successfully completed – from Shanghai all the way to the client’s facility in Ukraine.
This shipment involved two units moved in 40’OT containers via Gdańsk, followed by a carefully arranged inland leg.

With a height of up to 3.2 meters, standard trailers were off the table from the start. The inland delivery required a combination of flatbed and lowbed trucks, selected specifically to match the cargo profile and ensure full compliance on the route.

In the port, timing was just as critical as the setup itself. Discharge was arranged directly onto trucks, avoiding additional handling and reducing exposure to risk. That meant tight coordination with the terminal and no room for delays in vehicle positioning.

The full transit time – from vessel departure to final delivery – took 60 days.

This type of equipment is used in high-voltage substations to manage, protect, and isolate power systems – infrastructure that requires absolute reliability. It’s not just cargo – it’s part of the infrastructure that needs to perform without failure. And that sets the bar for everything around it, including logistics.

What makes moves like this work isn’t a single decision, but how every part connects: vessel planning, port handling, inland ex*****on. When each stage is aligned, ex*****on becomes predictable – and the result follows exactly as planned.
