Hegelmann Transporte UAB has been working together with Kaunas Clinics in Lithuania since 2018. Five years ago, we jointly created a play area in the Pediatric Surgery Department at Kaunas Clinics, and this year, we took another step by installing an air conditioning system. ❄️☀️

A small change to a space can make a big difference for a child and their parents. 💙

Hegelmann Transporte UAB has been partnering with Kaunas Clinics in Lithuania since 2018. Five years ago, together we created a children’s play area in the Children’s Surgery Department at Kaunas Clinics, and this year we took another step forward – we added an air conditioning system to the space, so children can now use it all year round, regardless of the weather. ❄️☀️

Around 15–20 children spend time here every day. They play, draw, watch movies, talk, and simply take a break from the hospital routine. 🎨🧸 Doctors notice that children often feel better after returning to the playroom following surgery.

“Children are our future, so caring for their well-being is a responsibility we all share. We believe that caring for a child means more than just treatment – it is also important to care about how the child and their family feel during their time in the hospital,” says Agnė Ambrazevičienė, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMO) at Hegelmann Group.

The event brought together leading experts from the logistics, maritime, transport, energy, and trading sectors across Central Asia, the Caucasus, Europe, and the Middle East to discuss regional connectivity, port development, multimodal transport, and market trends.

During the forum, we shared our expertise in multimodal logistics and discussed the growing importance of regional connectivity and the Middle Corridor for international trade.
