10 weeks in Zanzibar. Two boutique hotels. Build a portfolio most people can only dream of.

We're a hospitality group running two boutique hotels in Zanzibar - one on the southeast coast, one on the northeast. This summer, we're looking for a content creator intern to help us bring both properties to life through photography and video.
For 10 weeks you'll live at the hotel, eat at the hotel, and help us build a content library - the rooms, the kitchen, the ocean, the rooftop in the light of a setting sun, events, beaches, people. Two completely different properties, two coastlines, two vibes. One portfolio that opens doors.
You'll work under the guidance of our Marketing Manager - you'll get real briefs, brand guidelines, and a content plan. We're not handing you a camera and wishing you luck. We'll show you what matters, explain what we're looking for, and work together to make the content as good as it can be.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂
A portfolio that takes most creators years to build - 10 weeks of professional hospitality content in one of the most photogenic places on earth. Your photos and videos go live on websites, social media, and booking platforms - this isn't a university project, it's real material that someone will see and book a stay based on. You get a reference from a commercial hospitality brand. And your visa is valid for 3 months - after the internship you still have 2 weeks to travel Tanzania.
And yes - for 10 weeks you live on the Zanzibar coast. The ocean outside your door. Fresh food every day. Not a bad deal.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵
Daily photo and video shoots at both hotels - rooms, restaurant, food, pools, gardens, beach, ocean, events, local surroundings
Creating Reels, Stories, and TikTok content
Editing and preparing materials for publishing
Supporting the ex*****on of weekly content plans
You'll be working alongside our Marketing Manager and Guest Experience Coordinator - it's a small team, everyone pitches in, and we figure things out together

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿
Photography, film, media, marketing, or related students. Graduates building a career in content creation. Young creatives who want to gain experience in a place that definitely doesn't look like an office. We're looking for someone responsible, eager to learn, and with a real passion for creating content that feels authentic - not posed, not filtered to death.

Experience with video editing software and photo editing

We care a lot about guest experience. It's not a department or a checklist here - it's just how we do things. And the person leading our front office needs to feel the same way.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀
You'll lead the front office team - the people our guests see first and remember longest. Your job is to bring out the best in them. Train them, back them, build something together. The kind of team culture where people actually enjoy coming to work, because that energy is exactly what guests feel the moment they arrive.
You'll work closely with our reservations team, supporting them and making sure the handoff from booking to arrival feels seamless and personal. You'll own front office operations end to end - systems, processes, admin, standards - and keep everything running well without making it feel like it's being managed.
This is a real operations role. You'll be across the detail: arrivals and departures, guest communication, OTA platforms, reporting, and everything in between. And you'll do it while staying present, hands-on, and close to both the team and the guests.

• Solid front office or rooms division experience, ideally in Zanzibar or East Africa
• Strong operational skills - you know how to run a front office properly
• A natural leader who builds people up and leads from the front
• A genuine love for hospitality and guest experience - the kind that shows
• Strong English, written and spoken
• Calm under pressure, warm under any circumstances, sharp on the detail

We're looking for an F&B Manager who will take what we've built and make it even better.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀
You'll lead the front-of-house F&B team day to day - working alongside them, coaching them, and building the kind of service culture that guests notice and remember. You'll work closely with our Head Chef, making sure the floor and the kitchen are moving as one.
This is an operational role. You'll be present during service, not behind a desk. You'll know every table, read every shift, and spot the detail that others miss - the glass that needs refilling, the guest who needs a moment, the team member who needs encouragement.
You'll also own the numbers. Revenue, costs, bar operations, sales performance - you'll understand what drives them and know how to move them in the right direction. And you'll bring creative energy to what we do: menus, events, service touches, the little things that make an evening feel special.
We're laid back here. But we're professional. And we care deeply about getting it right.

• Someone who builds teams up and genuinely enjoys working with people

We are hiring a Hotel Manager

There is a small boutique hotel on the northeast coast of Zanzibar. 10 rooms, a covered 100sqm deck for yoga, movement, and group sessions. Two small pools. A small outdoor gym. A kitchen that takes food seriously. We are looking for the right person to run it.
We have a clear vision for where this place is going - and we want a manager who feels it.

What matters most:
✦ You understand wellness from the inside - through sport, movement, food, practice, or simply how you live. This is the one thing we cannot teach.
✦ Genuinely warm with people. Not trained-warm. Actually warm.
✦ Comfortable running operations - numbers, scheduling, team, the daily details. It is a small hotel so you own all of it, though you will have full support from the group on reservations, marketing, and finances.
✦ Independent and energetic. Someone who thrives when they are responsible for something, not overwhelmed by it.
