Swissport Tanzania Training Centre would like to invite all to a training session on IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Category 6.

Safety is paramount in the aviation industry: The course will impart you with a knowledge on how to extract, interprete and apply the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by air. These regulations include legal requirements, operational restrictions, packaging instructions, marking, labeling, and documentation to ensure the safe transportation of these goods. Gain the competencies to accept, handle and process shipments containing dangerous goods according to the current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) manual.

Course format
This classroom course provides 5 days (40 hours) of instruction delivered by an IATA Certified Instructor.

Student performance will be based on an examination

Target Group
Airline, Ground Handlers, Freight Forwarders/Cargo Agents Acceptance Staff.

ABOUT COURSE
You will learn about basic IATA cargo rules and procedures, how freight forwarders and airline cargo units operate, plus much more. This course is mandated for IATA Cargo Agents in accordance with the IATA Cargo Agency Resolutions.
Upon completing this course you will have the skills to:
 Guide clients on the IATA rules and procedures for air freight shipments
 Arrange air cargo shipments in accordance with IATA rules and procedures
 Apply published rates and charges for air cargo shipments
 Complete air waybills accurately
 Prepare shipments ready for carriage

TARGET GROUP
This course is recommended for:
 Newcomers to the industry
 Cargo agent and air freight forwarder sales and marketing staff
 Airline and manufacturer sales, reservations, and acceptance staff
 Junior-level managers at cargo agents, airlines, and manufacturers
