The Hadzabe have learned to adapt to the natural environment where their lives exist. When the rainy season is about to begin, they prepare a new living area, often using the large baobab tree. They dig into the tree’s hollow trunk, which provides enough space to serve as their home. This knowledge helps them escape the rain and stay dry. During the dry season, however, they build small huts covered with grass.
If you’re planning to visit local tribes, the Hadzabe are among the best to meet and learn from. They live ingeniously, preserving their traditions and way of life.
