最低調的匠人 - 搬家師傅


你還記得小時候的老公寓樓梯總是被噴漆寫著搬家公司或是水電服務的電話號碼嗎？紅色的顯眼一些、黑色藍的塗鴉總使人眼花。


台灣早期，搬家工人是最讓人詬病的族群，基本上沒有專業專營搬遷家居的企業，政府也未立案讓搬家業者申請執照，唯一比較合法的存在就是貨運行。


但是，一般的貨運業者或是司機又不是專門從事搬家的「師傅」，且個體戶、靠行制度使得人員的素質難以要求，更何談交易制度與企業文化的養成。


丸福搬家的創辦人林進福在業內算是泰斗級別的人物，他在偶然的機會裡踏入貨運行業中，從基層司機做起，後所從事的是運輸搬貨的業務，在這當中，碰到許多客戶提出搬家的需求，逐漸就客串起搬家貨運業務，才知搬家行業中的水深。那時候搬家沒用估價單、沒有契約書、全憑口頭上約定，於是糾紛不斷，吃虧的總是消費者。


「因我常事前給客人先估個價、讓他們心裡有個底，然後也不會多拿不該拿的錢。」林進福回憶起當年事業初期的情境，後來他在徵求貨運公司老板的同意後，萌生在貨運公司成立專業搬家部門的想法，就此，台灣有了稍具規模的搬家公司樣板。


「那時候穿起了白襯衫、戒了令人看就卻步的檳榔嘴，到客人家中進行初步的評估，從獨家訂制估價單、簽訂契約書，且良辰吉時的遷入遷出服務開始深受客戶好評。」林進福初期要求師傅穿著統一的制服，就花了不少功夫才說服他們，畢竟，師傅們總是有自己的脾氣與個性，「權威」在這裡並不能取代專業人力的價值，這也就是為何做搬家業不是老闆最牛逼，而是要給足師傅尊重。


再來，就是更新貨車的硬體設施，改用密閉式廂型貨卡車、升降梯、日本製的各類搬家輔具。還經歷過運輸業同行的恐嚇，破壞車輛等惡劣行為，終將台灣搬家業導向常規化，許多搬家業者也競向模仿起來，因此精緻搬家公司迎來了百家爭鳴的局面。


隨著時代變遷，搬家與時俱進多元化，二十餘年來林進福開創無數創新，而創新正是丸福搬家的傳統：丸福搬家始終使用環保物流箱、伸縮防護套等環保包材，原因除了響應環保之外，其防護力佳又可以節省客戶的荷包。
