【Full Fare Refund for all V Air F*K, CNX routes passengers】

V Air will suspend all services from October 1. TransAsia Airways plans to takeover Chiang Mai and Fukuoka routes in the near future; however, the carrier’s inaugural date of Fukuoka route has not yet confirmed, and the flight frequency of Chiang Mai route is different from V Air. To protect passengers’ rights and interests, full fare refund (including ticket fare, additional charges, airport taxes and surcharge) will apply to all passengers with flight schedule between October 30 2016 and March 25 2017. Refund will be transferred automatically to your credit card account. All refund procedure will be completed by Oct. 3, an email notice will also be sent to passengers.

On the other hand, all transferred or refund have been completed for passengers with flight schedule between October 1 2016 and March 25 2017 on KIX, OKA, DMK, NGO, PUS routes, as well as flight schedule between October 1 2016 and October 29 2016 on CNX, F*K routes. Refund will be received based on your credit card billing cycle.

【Safety Announcement】

In light of recent incidents and concerns raised by Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7 devices, powering up and charging of Galaxy Note 7 mobile phones are prohibited on all V Air flights, stow the device in any checked baggage is also not allowed.

【V Air Sponsored Tickets Redemption Instructions】

V Air will suspend all operations on October 1st 2016. All valid sponsored tickets previously issued by V Air shall be carried over to TransAsia Airways. Ticket reissue methods:

1. Mail back the the original copy of sponsored tickets to V Air/TransAsia Airways office.
2. Reissue TransAsia Airways sponsored tickets to passengers.
3. Follow the ticket redemption instructions on the new sponsored ticket.

【F*K, CNX routes passengers’ ticket arrangements】

Per V Air’s statement previously on suspend all services from October 1st, Chiang Mai, Fukuoka route passengers will be transferred to TransAsia Airways once the carrier complete application. Nevertheless, TransAsia Airways’ inaugural dates of these 2 routes has not yet confirmed, therefore the following arrangements will apply immediately to bookings from Oct 1st onwards. They are:

1. Full fare refund (including ticket fare, additional charges, airport taxes and surcharge) will apply to passengers with flight schedule between October 1st and October 29th.

2. Passengers with flight schedule between October 30th and March 25th 2017, an online form is available now until September 15th for passengers to apply for refund or choose to hold your tickets. (Tickets will be hold automatically if passenger did not fill in the online form before deadline) Once TransAsia Airways complete application, transfer will be made based on passengers’ original flight dates or on the closest dates. Passengers may also choose full fare refund then.

【V Air Statement】

Per TransAsia Airway’s announcement today (Aug. 09) on integrating its subsidiary company V Air, V Air will suspend all its services from October 1st. All ticket sales for flights on or after October 1st will be stopped.

Based on the Conditions of Carriage, the following arrangements will apply immediately to bookings from Oct 1st onwards. They are:

1.V Air will transfer and notify all passengers who booked Osaka, Okinawa routes to TransAsia Airways (same route) on their original flight date or on the closest date within 7 working days. An online form is also available now for passengers to apply for refund before Aug. 31st.

2.Chiang Mai, Fukuoka route passengers will be transferred to TransAsia Airways (same route) once the carrier complete application by the end of August. Transfer will be made based on passengers’ original flight dates or on the closest dates. An online form is also available now for passengers to apply for refund before Sep. 15th.

3.Full fare refund (including ticket fare, additional charges, airport taxes and surcharge) will apply to passengers who booked Bangkok, Busan and Nagoya routes.

【Haneda-Taipei and Ibaraki-Taipei Service suspension】

Due to commercial reasons and fleet capacity rearrangement, V Air announced today to suspend Haneda-Taipei and Ibaraki-Taipei service (and vice versa), effective September 20.

Based on the Conditions of Carriage, the following arrangements will apply with immediate effect to the service. Please refer to our website: https://www.flyvair.com/en/news/197.html

1. V Air will transfer passengers to TransAsia Airways’ Taipei-Narita service on their original flight date or on the closest date.
2. Full fare refund, including ticket fare, additional charges, airport taxes and surcharge)
