根據世界報導：不丹的帕羅國際機場四周被高山環繞，由於氣候關係，飛機只能在白天起降，且機師必須在沒有雷達的情況下手動降落，對於地形需要十分了解，一不小心就可能降落在別人家的屋頂上，因此帕羅國際機場被公認為「世界上最難降落的機場」之一，全不丹只有50人能勝任。
