🌳 A New Family Hiking Destination in Taoyuan! Wujiutongshan Nature Recreation Area Officially Opens ✨
Located in Luzhu, Wujiutongshan Park has been newly upgraded with a “Forest Adventure” theme, becoming Taoyuan’s first nature-inspired recreation area that combines outdoor exploration with family-friendly play 🌲
Blending the imagery of “wine barrels” and forest elements into the overall design, this space is more than just a playground — it’s a mountain retreat where children can explore freely and burn off energy, while adults relax and reconnect with nature 🍃
🌿 Highlights of the Park
🪵 Beginner Exploration Zone | Barrel-shaped wooden drums, forest balance beams, parent-child swings
🧗 Advanced Challenge Zone | Forest skywalk, climbing nets, rock-climbing wall, and the “King of the Forest” challenge course
🌳 Forest-Inspired Design | Barrel-themed seating, scenic mountain viewing decks, and wooden lounge chairs
✨ Eco-Friendly Features
☀️ Solar-powered LED lighting with low light pollution to protect nighttime wildlife
💧 Permeable gravel paths and grass swales to improve water retention and drainage
🌸 Preservation of existing old trees with additional flowering trees to showcase the beauty of the forest throughout the seasons
🚌 From now until the end of May, weekend shuttle buses run every 30 minutes between Taoyuan Metro A10 Shanbi Station and the Wujiutongshan Luntou Earth God Temple. Visitors are encouraged to make use of the shuttle service. If driving, please follow staff instructions for parking before walking uphill.
