We supply two types of offshore-quality compactor bags or bulk bags for use with various compactors and the general movement and storage of material. They are manufactured to a high standard and include specific features for offshore use (eg. extra-strong lifting loops, "over-weight" fabric for their SWL and top closure to fully contain their contents). Our bags are clearly marked with their SWL (beware of lower quality copies).

Designed specifically for offshore use, these bags are strong (1500kg) with a large capacity (1.4 m3). The use of extra-strong lifting loops and "over-weight" body fabric means that our bags still achieve their rated SWL and SF when lifted from a single point by crane (tested according to the same cyclic top-lift test mandated in ISO 21898). We produce two variants of our 1500kg compactor bag:

Unlined compactor bag - manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene fabric and specially UV treated to provide protection from extended exposure to harmful UV rays from the sun, the polypropylene used in ordinary bulk bags provide minimal protection when compared to for the fabric used in our bags. We believe our bags provide significant safety benefits to end-users and throughout the supply chain.

Loose-lined compactor bag - these bags have a two-meter long thick (80 micron) polyethylene lining loosely inserted into them. This not only contains all liquid in the bag but also can be closed & sealed over the load to prevent water ingress. These bags are particularly suited if it is important to keep the contents entirely clean & dry (eg. proppant) or completely isolated from the environment (eg. contaminated material).

Big bags are reusable and in most cases, their raw material is recyclable.
