Earth Day is observed each year on April 22 as a global call to action in support of environmental protection. HADCO remains committed to advancing sustainable practices and contributing meaningfully to national environmental initiatives.

Ecoimpact, the business unit in HADCO’s Recycling Division, plays a vital role in this effort through the collection, sorting and baling of wastepaper and cardboard for recycling. The company also manages the collection, processing and recycling of Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) for use in the production of alternative fuels, as well as the recycling of Lead-acid Batteries.

Collectively, these initiatives divert substantial volumes of waste from entering our landfills and waterways, thereby safeguarding our environment. This year’s Earth Day theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” means that through conscious choices, we have the power to foster a cleaner and more sustainable world. Happy Earth Day.
