ZERO recordable injuries across all operations by 2030
ZERO waste to landfill across manufacturing Sectors by 2035
50% increase in renewable energy generation by 2035

These are not aspirations, they are commitments with timelines, accountability, and intent. This announcement is timely as we join the international community in commemorating World Environment Day, themed Now for Climate on June 5th.

Because we believe the strongest companies of the future will be the most responsible, most efficient, and most resilient.

A closer look at one of the most engaging parts of this year’s ANSA McAL Annual General Meeting, the Sector Expo.

Bringing together our sectors in one space, the expo was designed to give shareholders a more tangible understanding of the Group, moving beyond updates and presentations, and into a real, hands-on experience of the businesses they are invested in.

The sectors on display included ANSA Motors, Chemicals, Construction, Financial Services, Ansa Packaging, Beverage, ANSA McAL Distribution Inc., and Media, offering a clear view of the breadth of ANSA McAL.

Rather than viewing the business from a distance, shareholders were able to walk through different touchpoints, speak directly with teams, see products up close, and understand how each sector contributes to the wider ANSA McAL portfolio.

What made it most impactful is that it gave shareholders a clearer perspective of how the organisation operates at scale, not as separate businesses, but as a connected Group working together to deliver value and long-term growth.

This is what makes the AGM experience more than a meeting, it’s a full view of who we are, what we do, and how far we continue to grow.

Two categories. Two grants. One structured investment in Guyana's future.

The ANSA McAL Foundation is accepting proposals from registered civil society organisations in Guyana.

Category 1: Education - STEM, TVET and entrepreneurship

Category 2: Community-based Youth Development

Funding: Up to GYD $10,000,000 per programme. Deadline: 15 June 2026.

ANSA McAL has been investing in Guyana and its people for decades - through businesses, communities and the Anthony N. Sabga Awards, Caribbean Excellence, which has honoured 16 Guyanese among its 71 laureates.

This call deepens that investment and commitment.

Jarmarie Hypolite, General Manager of ANSA Coatings Grenada, has been appointed as a Director of the Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce, representing the manufacturing sector following the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday, April 29th.

This appointment reflects the calibre of talent within ANSA McAL and our ongoing commitment to developing and empowering leaders who contribute meaningfully to the industries and communities in which they operate.

It is always a point of pride to see our people representing the Group in external leadership spaces and contributing to important conversations shaping the future of key sectors such as manufacturing in Grenada.

In his new role, Jarmarie looks forward to supporting the Chamber and advancing the continued development of Grenada’s manufacturing sector.

Once every year, we bring together our shareholders, leadership, and wider Group to reflect on progress, reinforce direction, and set the tone for what’s ahead. That’s exactly what took place at the 97th ANSA McAL Annual General Meeting last week.

This year’s AGM also served as a reminder of the scale and breadth of ANSA McAL, a diversified Group with operations spanning multiple sectors, markets, and industries, all working together under one shared direction.

The AGM reflected what matters most: transparency, accountability, and confidence in where the Group is headed. Shareholders received more than updates. They engaged directly with leadership, understood strategy, and gained deeper insight into the scale of the ANSA McAL portfolio.

That sense of connection was evident throughout the day, from the questions raised during the AGM to the Sector Expo experience, which brought the breadth of the Group to life in a very real way. More on this to come.

At the centre of it all was a clear direction: progress built on performance, trust, and the ambition to grow, as we move toward our 2X vision.
