The trip was incredible!
But there’s a difference between a relaxing vacation and an adventure-packed itinerary 😭

4 countries in 11 days gave us amazing food, unforgettable experiences and memories we'll be talking about for years.

It also gave us immigration lines, late night hotel check-ins and a few moments where we questioned our life choices 😂

Worth it?
Absolutely.
Would everybody enjoy that pace?
Maybe not.

How many countries would YOU do in 11 days?

I genuinely thought I was going to die in Hong Kong 😭
Yes I arranged Ngong Ping Crystal Cabin with a GLASS FLOOR!!! Did not expect it to be so highhhhhhh 😵‍💫😵
One minute I'm excited.
The next minute I'm questioning every life decision that brought me there 😂
Meanwhile some were enjoying the view...
And I'm busy trying not to look down 😭

The worst part?
The views were absolutely incredible.
10/10 💥💥💥
Would risk my blood pressure again 😂

Unpopular opinion...
Everybody focuses on visiting the Skywalk in Singapore.
Meanwhile we were upstairs eating delicious desert, sipping Moët and watching the spectacular skyline 😍
This was one of those travel moments where you stop taking photos for a minute and just enjoy where you are.
After 55 countries, those moments are my favorite part of travel.

After 55 countries people always ask me the same question...
"Have you seen everything you wanted to see?"
Not even close 😂

China for the history, food and sheer scale.
Brazil for the energy, culture and landscapes.
Ghana for the history and connection.
Jordan because Petra has been on my bucket list for YEARS.

Which one would YOU choose first?

These apps saved our SE Asia trip 😭
And no… this is NOT sponsored 😂

1. GRAB
Honestly? I have a full love/hate relationship with this app
Necessary? YES.
Cheap? Usually.
Convenient? Definitely.
But between surge pricing, drivers cancelling, and limited passenger options, sometimes
GRAB tested my patience too 😂

2. KLOOK
This app saved us SO much time.
Airport transfers, attraction tickets, tours, transport…
Asia travel without KLOOK would’ve stressed me out!

3. Google Maps
Not for directions…
For SAVING restaurants, attractions, cafes and spots before the trip.
This genuinely made the days smoother because nobody has time to be standing hungry and confused abroad.

4. Airalo eSIM
Landing in a new country already connected to data?
Life changing!

5. iPhone calculator currency conversion
By country number 3 all the money starts looking fake.
This feature saved my brain repeatedly.

These apps really made this trip WAY less stressful.

Macau taught me that group trips need FLEXIBILITY!
And honestly… this was one of my biggest lessons from SE Asia.

Macau was stunning.
Absolutely worth seeing.
But between:
• immigration delays
• visa checks
• starting the day too late
• walking
• the heat
• and everybody having different interests…
The hop-on hop-off bus honestly wasn’t the best idea for our group 😂

Some people wanted casinos.
Some wanted sightseeing.
Some wanted food.
Some wanted luxury shopping.
And Macau is MUCH bigger and more spread out than people realize.

By the end of the day we were tiredtttt 😭
But honestly?
I still think Macau is worth visiting.
I’d just plan it VERY differently next time.

That’s the thing about travel…
every trip teaches you something new.
Even after 50+ countries 😂

Airport boarding announcements...but make them honest 😝✈️
Some of allyuh boarding with priority.
Some boarding with vibes and a hangover.
And economy basic...thoughts and prayers!
Which boarding group are you really in? 😎

What shocked our group most in SE Asia? 😭
Honestly…
Realizing that places like Hong Kong and Singapore are actually SMALLER than Trinidad 🇹🇹
…but somehow felt:
• cleaner
• greener
• safer
• more efficient
• more developed

And before anybody starts…
this is NOT a “Trinidad bashing” post! 😂
Travel just really expands your perspective.

The amount of high-rise apartment buildings shocked us. In some areas it felt like there were barely any houses at all.
Then somehow in the middle of all those skyscrapers…
TREES everywhere 😭
Everything looked maintained.
Everything looked intentional.
And the attractions?
Sentosa.
Gardens by the Bay.
The waterfronts.
The transport systems.

For relatively small countries, the level of development honestly blew our minds.

Travel really makes you realize how differently countries can use space, planning and infrastructure.

Travel scams nobody warns Caribbean travellers about 😭✈️
Not robbery scams…
I mean the sneaky travel traps quietly draining your money abroad 😂

Airport currency exchange booths.
You land tired after 20 hours and suddenly US$100 changing into confusion 😭

Airport SIM cards charging tourist prices for convenience
Meanwhile the same eSIM online costs WAY less.

Card machines asking:
“Pay in your home currency or local currency?”
ALWAYS choose local currency 😭
That “helpful” conversion rate is usually terrible.

Booking “cheap” hotels far from train stations.
Now dragging luggage uphill in 34° heat to save US$30 a night.

Buying attraction tickets individually instead of combo passes.

SE Asia especially will humble your budget FAST if you don’t plan properly 😭

Travel isn’t only flights and aesthetics.
Half the battle is avoiding expensive mistakes 😂

POV: Hong Kong is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever visited… but this city exhausted my brain 😭

Nobody prepared me for:
• the crowds
• the speed
• the overstimulation
• the endless walking
• the tiny hotel rooms
• the escalators that feel like cardio training

Beautiful city?
Absolutely!

Efficient?
100%.

But mentally relaxing?
Absolutely not 😂

By day 3 my brain was buffering non stop...
And before anybody starts…
YES I would still go back.
Because somehow Hong Kong is chaotic, overwhelming AND addictive at the same time.
