Before offshore installation, these 𝐖𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 are handled as specialized by 𝐃.𝐒. 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐧, requiring controlled discharge, secure storage, and precise coordination.

𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 are high-strength steel cables, engineered to withstand extreme tensile forces, cyclic loading, and harsh marine environments. In anchoring applications, they are typically used in combination with chains and anchors, forming part of a hybrid mooring line system designed to balance strength, weight, and flexibility.

Positioned between the 𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫 and the vessel (or in conjunction with mooring chains), Wire Ropes play a key role in:
- Load distribution across the mooring system
- Maintaining station-keeping of floating assets such as FPSOs
- Absorbing dynamic forces caused by waves, wind, and currents
