ALFA Intl have been monitoring the situation with the Queensland floods carefully with our service partners. Please be advised that the continuing weather conditions in Queensland have worsened and Brisbane has started to evacuate certain areas. Shipping lines have also started moving their vessels out to sea due to potential flooding and as such delays are expected with all shipments in and out of the area.

Also referred to as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, the Chinese New Year is the most important holiday for Chinese communities around the globe. Although today filled with rejoicing, the centuries-old origins of the Chinese New Year celebrations were born out of fear and myth.

This year’s festivities will be held February 2-8, with the 3rd being the first day of the Chinese New Year – the Year of the Rabbit.

Yolsuzluklarla adı sıkça anılan gümrüklerde denetimin bir ayağı tasfiye ediliyor. Gümrük Müsteşarlığı'nın bünyesinde müfettişler ve kontrolörler denetim yapıyor. Yeni hazırlanan yasa değişikliği taslağı ile 144 gümrük kontrolörü işlevsiz hale dönüştürülüyor. Taslakta kontrolörlerin kadro sayıları donduruluyor ve boşalan kadrolara bir daha atama yapılmaması öngörülüyor.
