Arkas Line Arkas Line, Arkas Holding' in bir kuruluşu olup, Karadeniz, Akdeniz ve Afrika limanları arasında EMES Shipping and Transport S.A. Arkas Container Transport S.A.

was established in July 1996 in order to offer the first container shipping line of our country under the Turkish flag. As of January 1st 2010, the name of EMES Shipping and Transport S.A. was changed to Arkas Container Transport S.A. and continue to provide services under the brand name “Arkas Line”. Building on the strength of 66 years experience Arkas Holding has in international transportation

, Arkas Line offers regular Liner services between ports in the Black Sea and the Mediterranean with a fleet of 22 container vessels, most of which have Turkish flags and are owned by Arkas. (Arkas Line) began its activity as a feeder service established to transfer goods to large tonnage vessels that do not call Turkish ports and transport cargo between these vessels. Today it provides regular liner services with a container fleet of approximately 75.000 TEUs including special equipment such as open top, high cube, flat-rack, pallet-wide and reefers to meet the import and export needs of an expanding and developing market. The feedering service continues to be conducted by EMES Feedering S.A.M. With no restrictions on coastal trade in Turkey for services provided by Turkish flagged vessels, containers are transported between Turkish ports in the safest possible way.

Arkas Line Egypt office has implemented a practice that strengthens its sustainability focus within the scope of the Best Impact project. Documents that were previously disposed of by incineration have been recycled this year as part of a 17-ton archive.

This process, carried out in collaboration with a licensed cardboard manufacturer, has provided a safer method of disposal while also reducing carbon emissions and improving our overall environmental impact.

We believe that every step taken with a sense of responsibility creates lasting value.

Arkas Line Mısır ofisimiz, Best Impact projesi kapsamında sürdürülebilirlik odağını güçlendiren bir uygulamayı hayata geçirdi. Daha önce yakılarak imha edilen eski dosyalar, bu yıl 17 tonluk bir arşiv olarak geri dönüşüme kazandırıldı.

Lisanslı bir karton üreticisi ile yürütülen bu süreç, hem daha güvenli bir imha yöntemi sundu hem de karbon emisyonlarını azaltarak çevresel etkimizi olumlu yönde etkiledi.

Investing in knowledge, the younger generation, and values that travel into the future.

On the occasion of International Children’s Book Day (April 2), Arkas Hellas Group actively supported the power of books to inspire new generations. As part of our social contribution initiatives, we donated the children’s book “Liberty – The Ship of Freedom” to the 5th-grade students of the 36th Primary School of Piraeus.

A special moment of the day was when co-author Maria Giassa spoke to the children about the book, the shipping industry, and the essential messages of freedom and cooperation it conveys.

This meaningful initiative was carried out in collaboration with the ADOPT PROJECT, with Arkas Hellas proudly represented by Dimitris Chamakos (HR Manager) and Katerina Goula (Corporate Communication Coordinator).

Bilgiye, genç nesillere ve geleceğe taşınan değerlere yatırım yapıyoruz.

2 Nisan Uluslararası Çocuk Kitapları Günü kapsamında, Arkas Hellas olarak kitapların yeni nesillere ilham verme gücünü yürekten destekliyoruz. Sosyal sorumluluk inisiyatiflerimiz doğrultusunda, Pire 36. İlkokulu’nun 5. sınıf öğrencilerine “Liberty – The Ship of Freedom” (Özgürlük Gemisi) adlı çocuk kitabını hediye ettik.

Etkinliğimizin en güzel anlarından biri, kitabın yazarlarından Maria Giassa’nın çocuklarla kitap, denizcilik sektörü ve eserin taşıdığı özgürlük ile iş birliği mesajları üzerine yaptığı ilham verici sohbetti.

ADOPT PROJECT iş birliğiyle hayata geçirilen bu anlamlı projede, Arkas Hellas İK Yöneticimiz Dimitris Chamakos ve Kurumsal İletişim Koordinatörümüz Katerina Goula tarafından gururla temsil edildi.

Arkas Line Spain Achieves Best Impact with the Safranet Award

Under our Best Impact initiative, Arkas Line Spain has been honored with the Safranet Award by the Dr. J.J. Dómine-Port Fallas Association. This committee stands out as one of the few focusing on sustainability out of hundreds in the region.

The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the Grao neighborhood, the Port of Valencia, and cultural heritage. The jury awarded Arkas Spain for our sincere support of local traditions and sustainable cultural value. The award was proudly received by our General Manager, Eli Hanenya. We extend our endless thanks to the association for this meaningful recognition.

Arkas Line İspanya’dan Best Impact ile Sürdürülebilir Kültürel Destek
