Valide-i Cedid Mosque, located in the Valide-i Cedid Mosque Complex in Üsküdar, between Hakimiyeti Miliye Street, Balaban Street and İmam Nasır Street, was built by Sultan IV in 1708-1711. Mehmed's wife, Sultan III. It was built by Ahmed's mother, Emetullah Rabia Gülnûş Sultan.Its architect is Mehmet Ağa from Kayseri.
The most striking details in the exterior are the birdhouses, which are considered to be the first of their kind. These elegantly designed details are good examples of the love of animals in the Ottoman Empire
