Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, or Mustafa Kemal Pasha until 1921, and Ghazi Mustafa Kemal from 1921 until 1934 (c. 1881 – 10 November 1938) was a Turkish field marshal, revolutionary statesman, author, and the founding father of the Republic of Turkey, serving as its first president from 1923 until his death in 1938. He undertook sweeping progressive reforms, which modernized Turkey into a secular, industrializing nation. Ideologically a secularist and nationalist, his policies and socio-political theories became known as Kemalism. Due to his military and political accomplishments, Atatürk is regarded as one of the most important political leaders of the 20th century.

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk è stato un generale e politico turco, fondatore e primo Presidente della Repubblica turca (1923-1938). Dal 1916 fu chiamato Mustafa Kemal "Paşa", dal 1934 Kemal "Atatürk". È considerato l'eroe nazionale turco, e il padre della Turchia moderna. Per i suoi meriti in patria, a seguito della dissoluzione dell'Impero ottomano, così come in Europa, Atatürk è considerato una delle più importanti figure del XX secolo.

Istanbul è un melting pot dalle molteplici forme. Sin da subito siamo rimasti stupiti da come nel giro di pochi chilometri cambiasse totalmente l’aspetto urbano di questa metropoli. Camminando per le vie della city è molto facile passare da palazzi antichi affiancati da monumenti religiosi e moschee, a skyscapers e palazzi con soluzioni architettoniche del nostro secolo. In questo caso vi mostriamo uno scorcio dell’ ospedale internazionale Acıbadem Fulya Hospital nel quartiere di Beşiktaş.

Istanbul is a melting pot with many different shapes. We were immediately amazed by how the urban aspect of this metropolis changed completely within a few kilometers. Walking through the streets of the city it is very easy to pass from ancient palaces flanked by religious monuments and mosques, to skyscapers and palaces with architectural solutions of our century. In this case we show you a glimpse of the international hospital Acıbadem Fulya in the Beşiktaş district.

PETSHOP. 🐾

“La città dei gatti” è spesso popolata anche da questi meravigliosi cagnoloni che si aggirano per le strade della città. Spesso sono in gruppi da due/tre altre volte sono da soli appisolati in molti quartieri della città. Non sono denutriti perché Istanbul da ciò che abbiamo visto durante il nostro soggiorno, ha un amore incondizionato per tutti gli animali, gatti in primis, ma anche cani, uccellini, conigli e chi più ne ha più ne metta. In molti angoli si trovano acqua e cibo offerti gratuitamente ai nostri amici a 4 zampe. Lui come tutti i cani della città sono dotati di chip riconoscitivo e sono stato tutti sottoposti a controlli prima di poterli lasciare girare liberamente. Con questa foto vogliamo mostrarvi questo bel cane che riposa a pochissimi metri da un negozio di animali, a conferma dello stile che tanto piace a noi di NOT, come sempre non ordinario dove talvolta le contraddizioni sono stimolo per nuove accattivanti visioni.

Esplorando istanbul ci siamo imbattuti in una città dalle infinite sfumature. Un melting pot di colori, sapori, diversi stili di vita, usi e costumi. Con questa immagine volevo far notare come in una zona religiosa, Ortaköy, che per quanto zona altamente turistica mantiene un fascino indiscutibile. Ortaköy ci ha ricordato molto alcune zone di Londra, città a cui sono molto affezionato nonchè altro melting pot culturale, abbiamo quindi deciso di pubblicare questa immagine dove un caffè contemporaneo presente in tutti i Paesi del Mondo, simbolo del capitalisamo made in usa come Starbucks possa sorgere accanto alla moschea e al monumento ottomano che vedete rappresentato.

While exploring Istanbul we came across a city of infinite shades. A melting pot of colors, flavors, different lifestyles, habits and customs. With this image I wanted to point out how in a religious area like Ortaköy, which, although touristy, maintains an indisputable charm. Ortaköy reminded us a lot of some areas of London, one of my fave cities and as well as another cultural melting pot, that's why we decided to publish this image, where a contemporary coffee present in all the countries of the world, a symbol of made in usa capitalism like Starbucks, can stand next to the mosque and the Ottoman monument you see represented.

Visiting the Pera Museum of Istanbul and the Biennale 2022 of Istanbul we came across this amazing artwork by “Horror Vacui” (Spring scene #2) - 2017

Covering the artwork with concrete reveils how distructive men could be and how we can destroy our surroundings. At the same time, the coverage of history, could represent
a cut with the past bad behavior and
a hope of changing for the following generations.
