Aperlai Tour
Depart Kaş harbour 10am
Inonu Bay 11am-12pm
Leaving Kaş in the mid-morning sun we’ll sail into Inonu Bay, a serene and secluded bay where you will get the first opportunity of the day to swim or snorkel in its silky turquoise waters.
Aperlai 12:30–3:30pm
Cruising along in the warm sea breeze, passing by Lycian tombs located high up in the surrounding coastal hills, we arrive at the evocative yet deserted ruins of Aperlai, a hugely important city in the Lycian Confederation, still surrounded by its ancient city walls. Aperlai’s history goes back to the 4th or 5th centuries BC during which time it minted its own coins, revealing its importance. There is time to explore the old city and have a quick swim over the sunken ruins, the only area of the ruins where there is permission to swim. We’ll enjoy lunch overlooking the harbour.
Sariot Island 4:30-5pm
After our relaxing and stimulating afternoon we’ll take a rest and drink tea at Sairot island famed for its diverse population of birds. This is a superb location for snorkelling as there is a drop off in the sea which has great visibility and is home to larger marine life.
Limanagzi Cove 5:30-6pm
With the sun still high in the sky we have a chance for a last dip in the lovely Limanagzi Bay where ancient Lycian tombs are visible under its greeny-blue waters and above in the surrounding hills.
Kaş 6:30pm
Return to Kaş harbour.

Everyday Kaş to Greek Island Tour (Kastellorizo/Meis) with Captain Osman Muslu by SELIN-3 Boat!!

We have everyday Tour to Meis/ Kastellorizo by Gulet Boat up to max. 12 People!

This day cruise from Kaş harbour visits the Greek island of Kastellorizo (called Meis in Turkish). Kastellorizo is the most easterly island of Greece, 125km from the next island, Rhodes, but just 6km from Kaş. The islanders have a strong connection to Kaş, and come each Friday to buy fresh fruit and vegetables in local weekly market.

Typically we’ll depart from Kaş harbour around 10:30am.

Blue Grotto 12:00am

The Blue Grotto or Blue Cave is the natural highlight of Kastellorizo. Located on the south eastern coast of the island, it is only accessible by sea. The narrow cave entrance set into a cliff is barely 1 metre above the water, so guests can either swim inside or be transported by zodiac. One inside, the cave opens up to a startling 50 metre long cavern. The morning sun filters inside through the sea, giving the cave an unworldly atmosphere.

Mandraki Bay 13:00pm

Heading north from the Blue Cave, we’ll stop at a cove known as Mandraki. This steep-sided inlet is an ideal spot for a shipboard barbeque lunch, prepared while you relax on the sunloungers or take another dip.

Agios Georgios ( Saint George Beach) 15:00pm

After lunch we’ll move around to the east of Kastellorizo, where a small island a tiny church to St. George. This wild green headland with its tiny rocky beach is the perfect place to enjoy a long slow afternoon, munching on fresh fruit and sipping a glass of Turkish tea or perhaps a beer.

Meis Harbour 16:30pm

In the late afternoon we’ll start heading to the Meis habour . You will have free time at the Island to explore and have dinner in Greek Restaurants. ( dinner is not included in the price!)

Typically we’ll depart from Meis harbour around 21:30pm.

Kaş Harbour 22:00pm

Return to Kaş harbour.
This Kastellorizo day trip starts and ends in Kaş harbour.

Kastellorizo has many interesting sights. Few of those are :
▪ The Castle in the port. It was built on the ruins of ancient casttle, some thousands years old, in the 14th century by the Knights of Saint John and received its name from the red colour of the rocks.
▪ Next to the castle are the ruins of a Turkish Hamam and a restored watermill.
▪ The Lycian Tomb a church like grave built in the end of the 5th century beg. 4th century b.c. St Constantine and Eleni curch built in 1835 with granite brought from the temple of Apollo in the opposite site of Lycia in Asia Minor. Paleokastro 2 kilometers n.w. built in Byzantine times The Cyclopean Walls the ancient tombs.
▪ The monastery of St. George of the mountain.
▪ The Archaeological Museum.
▪ The Blue Cave which is the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. There are stalactites and stalagmites in this extremely beautiful cave which can only be visited by boat. There are of course other caves. The Island is a natural biological paradise. As there is no real interference with nature the island is housing a number of species of animal vegetable world and also the monachous seal.
