How to ventilate an engine room and keep the space dry.
It's always a challenge on modern yachts to take the heat and smells out from an engine room without compromising watertight integrity or increasing noise levels on deck.
Our ceiling mounted vent system is designed to keep the rain and sea water out whilst quietly removing the heat and fumes from the engine rooms of this 55' motor yacht.
The reduction in operating temperature of the space has improved the performance of the engines as well as the generator systems with a noticeable improvement in efficiency.

Another successful watermaker installation by the Buzzcats Electrical team.
Installing a "Stella Watermakers" reverse osmosis desalination plant is one of the very challenging jobs our team undertake, requiring not just safe electrical supply and protection, but skills in high pressure plumbing, tanks management, filters, strainers, pumps, sea water intakes and overboard discharge. There's plenty of room for mistakes but I'm happy to say it all worked perfectly, first time, no leaks.
Now the charter guests aboard "M.Y. Ambition" can shower in peace knowing that refilling the water tanks is just the flick of a switch away,
