วันนี้ผมมีตัวอย่างงานที่เจอปัญหาอุปกรณ์ฟิตติ้งถูกกัดกร่อนจากน้ำทะเล ซึ่งในส่วนนี้เป็นจุดเล็กๆที่มีความสำคัญ หากเราไม่ได้ตรวจสอบคุณภาพหรือสเปควัสดุก่อนติดตั้ง ผลลัพธ์ที่ตามมาคืออุปกรณ์ฟิตติ้งเหล่านั้น อาจถูกกัดกร่อนจากความเค็มของน้ำทะเลอย่างรวดเร็ว
ผมขออนุญาตยกตัวอย่างจากงานลูกค้า ที่ทางทีมงานเข้าไปตรวจสอบและแก้ไขในวันนี้นะครับ ลูกค้าเรือลำนี้นำเรือลงไปทดสอบขับ และจอดเทียบท่าอยู่ประมาณ 10 วัน และได้นำมาทดสอบการขับเคลื่อนอีกครั้ง ผลปรากฎว่าเกิดการรั่วของน้ำมันไฮโดรลิค จึงต้องทำการหาสาเหตุ เพื่อแก้ไขงาน และทางทีมงานได้นำเรือขึ้นฝั่งเพื่อตรวจสอบอีกครั้ง จึงได้พบว่าน้ำมันรั่วออกจากอุปกรณ์ฟิตติ้ง ระหว่างจุดต่อที่เป็นสแตนเลสเกรดต่ำ ทำให้เกิดการขัดข้องกับระบบขับเคลื่อนของเรือลำนี้ ซึ่งผมมีภาพตัวอย่างของชิ้นส่วนดังกล่าวแนบมาให้ได้ชมด้วยครับ สภาพชิ้นส่วนที่นำมาให้ชม เป็นชิ้นส่วนที่ถูกกัดกร่อนจากน้ำทะเลเพียงเวลาแค่ 10 วันเท่านั้นเองครับ ดังนั้นจุดนี้เป็นส่วนเล็กๆอีกจุดหนึ่งที่ไม่ควรมองข้ามไปสำหรับ วัสดุอุปกรณ์ที่ใช้กับเรือนะครับ ซึ่งโดยทั่วไปทางผมจะเลือกใช้แสตนเลส 316L
❓ทำไมต้องแสตนเลส 316L เพราะสแตนเลส 316L เป็นสแตนเลสที่มีส่วนผสมของ โครเมี่ยม 16 – 18% และ นิกเกิล อย่างน้อย 12-15 % ซึ่ง316L นี้เป็นเกรดที่ลดปริมาณคาร์บอน สามารถทนการกัดกร่อนจากสารเคมี ประเภท กรด น้ำเค็ม ได้ดี สามารถใช้งานในภาวะการกัดกร่อนสูง แม่เหล็กดูดไม่ติด และที่สำคัญคือเกิดสนิทได้ยาก และที่นิยมใช้กันอย่างแพร่หลายก็คือ ปั๊มเคมีในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม ปั๊มสูบส่งสีย้อมผ้า ปั๊มเคมีที่ทนต่อกรด ปั๊มสำหรับน้ำเยื่อกระดาษ ปั๊มกรดสมุนไพร ปั๊มที่ใช้ในงานเกษตร ปั๊มบำบัดน้ำเสีย ปั๊มบำบัดน้ำเค็มครับ #บุญเอ็นจิเนียริ่งเซอร์วิสทีม

Today we have an example of the work that face trouble with the fitting tools as they were eroded by the sea water. This part is a small issue but still very important. If we do not check the quality and the specifications before installing, the results may be disappointing as these tools will be eroded by sea salt water very quickly.
Our customer try driving the boat and then he parked the boat for 10 days, then again he try to drive, but now he face a problem with the leaking of hydraulic oil which needed to be fix right away. We took the boat on land and we saw that the hydraulic oil leaked out from the fitting tools from the low grade stainless joints. This leakage of hydraulic oil caused the problem with the driving system and you can see from the pictures below. These are the pictures of the fitting tools that was eroded by the sea water for only 10 days. This part is one of the important part to notice when using the tools for your boat. We normally use the 316L stainless for this.
Why should we use 316L stainless? Because this stainless contains mixture of chromium 16-18% and nickel at least 12-15%. It also decreases carbon and strong enough to not be eroded from chemicals like acid or salt. It does not attracts the magnet and most importantly difficult to corrode. The popular tool used by many boats technicians is the chemical pumps use in factories, pumps that carries the colours in clothing factories, acid pumps used in agriculture, pumps for water treatment and pumps for salt water treatment.
