One of six Nike Art Gallery locations, the Lagos gallery opened its doors in 2008 and has become one of Nigeria’s most celebrated cultural destinations. Here, you’ll discover an incredible collection of both traditional and contemporary Nigerian art, while also experiencing regular art exhibitions, cultural performances, guided tours, art classes, and workshops.

As you wander through the gallery, you’ll come across breathtaking pieces honoring legendary icons like Fela Kuti, the revolutionary Nigerian musician and activist, Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first president, and Jamaica’s own Bob Marley, along with countless works celebrating African history, culture, and storytelling.

A special thank you to Nike Davis-Okundaye, lovingly known as Mama Nike, the owner and curator of the galleries. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with a warm smile that filled the room just like the beautiful artwork surrounding us. Her kindness and humility made this experience even more memorable.
