Bridge on the River Kwai today. Very sad to see the photos of the POWs and the artworks they made. Amazing that anyone survived at all.

Yesterday we relaxed and wandered around the local area. Last night we experienced a LadyBoy Cabaret. Was a fun evening.

Got back to the hotel last night (2 nights in the hospital was enough for me). Went out to a shopping centre today and had a yummy lunch. The bruise on my leg is from catching my pant leg on a broken walkway and faceplanting on the pathway - thankfully that was prior to surgery. Such a pretty purple colour 🤦🏻‍♀️

So for those who didn’t know - I came to Thailand for a breast lift and arm lift. The hospital is fantastic. The nurses have been wonderful and my doctor was thorough, kind and sensible. I have been in great hands.
The pain is minimal and although I can see much for the bandaging, I reckon it all looks pretty great.
A big thank you to Aunty Rhonda for being my support person 😘

What a day! We climbed a million stairs (or so it felt) and drank litre upon litre of water. We toured UNESCO listed temples and the palace. Very tired now.

We got in last night at around midnight. Very lucky to have a spare seat in our row 😊
