Born on 3 June 1978 in Songkhla Province, Queen Suthida graduated in Communication Arts from Assumption University before working as a flight attendant for JAL Airline (2000–2003) and Thai Airways International (2003–2008), later serving in the Royal Security Command.
On 1 May 2019, Queen Suthida was granted the royal title of Queen by King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X).
On this auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday on June 3, Thailand joins in celebrating her dedication to the Thai people, culture, and heritage.

Today is Visakha Bucha Day, one of the most sacred days observed on the full moon of the lunar calendar.
Instead of a loud festival, it is a night of quiet tradition.
In the morning, you’ll see locals gathering for “tak bat” (offering alms to monks).
As dusk falls, families visit local temples to listen to evening prayers and join the "wian tian", a peaceful candlelight procession where people walk mindfully around the main chapel.
If you are traveling in Thailand, you are warmly welcome to experience this beautiful tradition.
