The Jeep is now back from repair with a brand new clutch and ready for hire again 🛻💨

Due to previous customers acting overly pedantic and rude, we feel it necessary to share a post explaining exactly how this model of Jeep works, runs and handles so there is no confusion when hiring.

The original Suzuki 1300cc engine has been replaced with a 2000cc Toyota, offering more power to climb the hills on the island, it is a 1997 refurbished model with upgraded wheels, suspension and exhaust system, it drives like a 26 year old Jeep.

She will bounce around whilst driving, she’s loud and rattles at high speeds, trying to gear change at the wrong speed will prove difficult, the handbrake is the original 1997 Suzuki handbrake, it is as tight as it can possibly be, if you try to park on a hill it will roll backwards therefore leaving the jeep in 1st gear will be required.

If you are not experienced driving an old model off road jeep, perhaps this model and option for hire is not for you, we are happy to offer a 10 minute guided test drive if unsure prior to booking, however once booked no refund will be offered if you decide she is too difficult to handle.

4WD is required and non negotiable when climbing the steeper hills on the island, not only when it snows ( which it never does in Thailand ) and we will now be updating our T&C’s to cover this and a fine will be incurred for in proper use.

Let us be very clear, we are a small family run business and will handle ourselves professionally, as most of you already know and will go above and beyond for our customers.

Acts of threatening behaviour, sarcasm or rude comments to myself or business partners will not be tolerated and professionalism will go straight out the window, especially when it comes down to false defamation.

We hope everyone understands the need for sharing this and for pre booked customers for July, August & September who have already paid a deposit, a test drive will be offered for you prior to use.
