What a month August has been!
Ramping up operations on wood pack logistics has seen FPT Global handle over 4500 freight tons. Spread across two warehouses, weve handled client cargo from inbound receiving, storage, repacking and export services via containers, bulk and in transit. With multiple product types each needing their own specific TLC, FPT have achieved the tonnage and gained crucial knowledge and strength to continue the growth into September

The last few months has been all about contract logistics growth for FPT global, so it was a nice change for our Management team to be onsite to see the projects division showcase their talents.

If asked what makes value add project management and logistics enjoyable........

This week and just like every other week
we’ve executed jobs ranging from consolidation storage, and delivery JIT , Handling preparation for export of over 1000t of raw steel, emergency shrink wrap at port due to stowage plan changes and moved oversize cargo cross border to a very happy buyer. Our sales team have also been busy and rewarded for their hard efforts with a client signing a long term framework agreement for freight management services to help through the current ocean congestion and booking issues worldwide

We’ve worked with our network partners from all over the world on enquiries and firm business with the confidence and passion to achieve a mutual goal of providing a solution over and above expectations

FPT Global achieve over and above on clients detailed Supply Chain Risk Management Audit

What started as a request for self assessment of our internal operations a few weeks ago followed by a 3 day onsite audit, culminated in a very positive closing meeting which identified our high level of operational compliance. It showed we have the correct tools and infrastructure in place to ensure our risk controls as a supplier meet our clients expected standard

Whilst this a great achievement in itself, it was as equally satisfying to watch a team of people We are lucky enough to call our colleagues “smash it out the ball park”

It’s been a long and exhaustive week for all involved and it’s definitely reminded us all how much can be achieved if everyone has the same vision and goal.
