Vacature: Financieel Medewerker

Travel The Guianas is een gerenommeerde tour operating bedrijf met meer dan 20 jaar ervaring in de toerismesector. Wij organiseren unieke en duurzame reizen in The Guianas en werken nauw samen met zowel lokale als internationale partners. Vanwege de groei en verdere professionalisering van onze organisatie zijn wij op zoek naar een financieel medewerker ter versterking van ons team.

Functieomschrijving Als financieel medewerker ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ondersteunen en uitvoeren van de financiële administratie. Je zorgt ervoor dat de financiële processen correct, tijdig en overzichtelijk verlopen en levert daarmee een belangrijke bijdrage aan de verdere groei van onze organisatie.

Werkzaamheden
• Verwerken en controleren van inkoop- en verkoopfacturen
• Debiteuren- en crediteurenbeheer
• Bijhouden van de kas-, bank- en grootboekadministratie
• Voorbereiden van financiële rapportages en overzichten
• Ondersteunen bij het opstellen van begrotingen en cashflow-overzichten
• Assisteren bij jaarafsluitingen en accountantscontroles
• Signaleren van financiële knelpunten en meedenken over verbeteringen
• Administratieve ondersteuning bij projecten en tenders

Functie-eisen
• MBO+/HBO werk- en denkniveau in financiële of administratieve richting
• Aantoonbare ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie
• Goede kennis van financiële administratie en boekhoudkundige processen
• Accuraat, betrouwbaar en zelfstandig
• Goede beheersing van Microsoft Excel; ervaring met boekhoudsoftware is een pré
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden
• Proactieve en flexibele werkhouding

The Swan Hellenic Vega in French Guiana!

After a stop in Suriname, Travel The Guianas handled tours for the Swan Hellenic Vega cruise in French Guiana.

We set off on an journey to Royal Island (Il Dicello), a place rich in history and surrounded by serene tropical waters. Guests discovered the island’s natural beauty, learned about its fascinating past and enjoyed the peaceful charm that makes this region so unique.

The Swan Hellenic Vega in Suriname!

Yesterday, Travel The Guianas had the honor of handling arrangements for the arrival of the Swan Hellenic Vega cruise and its wonderful guests.
We explored the best of Paramaribo together, one group enjoyed a City Tour through our historic and cultural capital, while another experienced the tranquility of Paperpot Nature Park.

We also exchanged a commemorative plaque, a long-standing maritime tradition where each ship and port share symbols of friendship. We presented the captain with a handcrafted wooden clock in the shape of Suriname’s map, made right here in Suriname.

It was a pleasure to meet the captain and crew, share our culture and showcase Suriname’s warmth and hospitality. Everyone had a fantastic time and we can’t wait to welcome the Vega back again next year!
