As mentor, Thessady’s father, Dennis Taloon, who is an officer in the agricultural department in Paramaribo, Suriname, motivated her to understand the quality and maintenance it takes to create such a business. This eventually gave her a rounded understanding of what a necessity and market demand her business concept was to her country.
Thessady was given the name “Koda” by her boyfriend, who characterized her as the playful, creative, intuitive, and curious little bear in the movie “Brother Bear”. After joining with her boyfriend to create a bike taxi and delivery service
BromLijn, sadly, Koda passed away at the age of 22 years, leaving her thoughts, plans, and ideas with her boyfriend. As an oath to Koda, her boyfriend Dave Burgzorg, has decided to fulfill their projects working together with her close family to pursue her objective in creating a difference in Suriname.
Her life stood for some as an inspiration, a role-model, or to many as a bundle of joy. Most of all, she expressed an abundance of compassion, care, and love which is something that is only spiritually gifted in this generation. As her boyfriend would say, “A true example of a God fearing woman.”
