Dnes na Ústave logistiky a dopravy úspešne prebehla obhajoba dizertačnej práce Mgr. Kristíny Kleinovej na tému „Návrh modelu pre stanovenie ceny výrobku s ohľadom na históriu predaja a kúpnu silu“. Práca sa venovala prepojeniu cenotvorby, dopytu, kúpnej sily a logistického rozhodovania podniku. Srdečne gratulujeme k úspešnému ukončeniu doktorandského štúdia a prajeme veľa úspechov v ďalšej vedeckej a odbornej činnosti. 📚✨️
Today, the dissertation defence of Mgr. Kristína Kleinová took place successfully at the Institute of Logistics and Transport on the topic “A Proposal for a Model to Determine Product Pricing Considering Sales History and Purchasing Power.” The dissertation focused on linking pricing, demand, purchasing power and logistics decision-making in enterprises. We sincerely congratulate her on the successful completion of her doctoral studies and wish her much success in her future scientific and professional activities.

V priebehu uplynulých týždňov sa na našom ústave konali štátne skúšky a obhajoby bakalárskych prác študentov študijných programov Priemyselná logistika, Dopravná logistika podniku a Komerčná logistika. 🎓
Všetkým študentom srdečne gratulujeme k úspešnému zvládnutiu tohto dôležitého míľnika a prajeme im veľa úspechov v ďalšom štúdiu aj profesijnom živote. 👏

Over the past few weeks, our institute hosted the state examinations and bachelor thesis defenses of students from the study programmes Industrial Logistics,Transport Logistics of Enterprise and Commercial Logistics. 🎓

Posledný deň naši študenti navštívili závod Continental Tires Continental Slovensko v meste Púchov.

Po úvodnej prezentácii zameranej na predstavenie spoločnosti sa prezentuújci zamerali na informácie z oblasti logistiky výroby a následne aj logistiky dopravy. Odprezentovali nám rôzne logistické operácie, inovácie a produkty, ktoré vo svojom závode vyrábajú.

Následne sme sa presunuli priamo do výroby, kde sme mohli vidieť výrobu pneumatík pre osobné automobily a aj výrobu pneumatík pre nákladnú a autobusovú prepravu.

Boli nám predstavené automatizované sklady a logistika skladovania.

Dopoludnie sme zakončili zaujímavou prednáškou oddelenia HR, kde sme dozvedeli, aké rôzne benefity ponúka spoločnosť pre svojich terajších ale aj budúcich zamestnancov. Veríme, že medzi nimi budú aj naši študenti. Okrem iného nám bola predstavená aj možnosť spolupráce v oblasti záverečných prác.

Chceli by sme sa veľmi pekne poďakovať všetkým, ktorí sa o nás dnes v Púchove postarali.
On the last day, our students visited the Continental Tires plant in the city of Púchov.

After an introductory presentation focused on introducing the company, the presenters focused on information from the field of production logistics and subsequently also transport logistics. They presented us with various logistical operations, innovations, and products that they manufacture in their plant.

Subsequently, we moved directly into production, where we could see the manufacturing of tires for passenger cars as well as the manufacturing of tires for truck and bus transport.
We were introduced to automated warehouses and storage logistics.

We concluded the morning with an interesting lecture from the HR department, where we learned about the various benefits the company offers to its current as well as future employees. We believe that our students will be among them. Among other things, the possibility of cooperation in the field of final theses was also presented to us.

We would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who took care of us in Púchov today.

Za účasti siedmich univerzít – Slovenskej technickej univerzity v Bratislave (SR), Technickej univerzity v Košiciach (SR), Vysokej školy logistiky o.p.s., Přerov (ČR), Škoda Auto vysokej školy (ČR), Ekonomickej univerzity v Krakove (PL), Univerzity v Zielonej Góre (PL) a Univerzity Čierna Hora (ME) – sa v Trnave konala Medzinárodná študentská vedecko-odborná konferencia mŠVOK 2026. Konferenciu sme začali exkurziou v spoločnosti Stellantis.

V silnej konkurencii prác z oblasti logistiky sme sa nestratili. S témou „Analysis and evaluation of the company’s operations, with a focus on production logistics within the company’s specific environment“ sa Viktoriia Shyriaieva umiestnila na krásnom 3. mieste, k čomu jej všetci srdečne blahoželáme a prajeme veľa ďalších úspechov. ✨️

With the participation of seven universities – the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (Slovakia), the Technical University of Košice (Slovakia), the College of Logistics o.p.s., Přerov (Czech Republic), Škoda Auto University (Czech Republic), Krakow University of Economics (Poland), the University of Zielona Góra (Poland), and the University of Montenegro (Montenegro) – the International Student Scientific and Professional Conference mŠVOK 2026 was held in Trnava. We started the conference with an excursion to Stellantis.

In strong competition among papers in the field of logistics, we certainly made our mark. With the topic “Analysis and evaluation of the company’s operations, with a focus on production logistics within the company’s specific environment,” Viktoriia Shyriaieva achieved an excellent 3rd place. We sincerely congratulate her and wish her many further successes. ✨️

Druhý deň exkurzie naši študenti zavítali do závodu Kia Slovakia v Tepličke nad Váhom blízko Žiliny 🤩 Priatelia zo závodu KIA nám predstavili spoločnosť, ukázali montážne a zváracie haly a povedali niečo málo o dodávateľských reťazcov v rámci inportu a exportu 🏭🚗 🤗

Na záver sa naši študenti dozvedeli niečo o možnostiach študentských stáží a možnostiach získať zaujímavé pracovné príležitosti 👊💯

Ďakujeme veľmi pekne za možnosť absolvovať takúto zaujímavú exkurziu. 👌
On the second day of the excursion, our students visited the KIA Slovakia plant in Teplička nad Váhom, near Žilina 🤩

Our friends at KIA introduced the company, showed us the assembly and welding halls, and at the end told us a little about supply chains in import and export 🏭🚗 🤗
