🤝 SMRT has successfully renewed our Collective Agreement with the National Transport Workers' Union (NTWU) , covering around 10,000 employees across our bus, rail, taxi, vehicle leasing and automotive businesses.

This renewal reflects the strength of our long-standing labour-management partnership and our shared commitment to supporting our people 👥.

The renewed agreement harmonises key employment terms, reinforcing consistency, fairness and transparency across our workforce ⚖️. It also positions us to better support employees through continued wage progression, skills upgrading and enhanced workplace practices as the transport industry evolves 🚆.

We thank NTWU and all colleagues involved for their partnership and contributions throughout the renewal process 🙏. Together, we remain committed to building a progressive workplace where our employees can grow, thrive and continue delivering safe and reliable transport services for Singapore.

Final stop! We're closing out our series with five stations that prove a commute can be beautiful before you even step inside.

Can you name them from these clues?

🏯 A curved roofline rooted in classical Chinese architecture
🕌 A Minangkabau-style roof nodding to Geylang Serai's Malay heritage
🏛️ Exits that recreate a 1911 building façade with Spanish gables
🐚 A clamshell dome that frames natural light
🏗️ An arched roof standing 21 metres tall, 7 storeys high

Drop your guesses in the comments.

📸 Tag your photos with and show us your favourite façade moments.

On 16 May, 's 🟠Circle Line team conducted Exercise Crimson alongside Singapore Civil Defence Force and Singapore Police Force Transcom between the new Cantonment (CC31) and Prince Edward Road (CC32) stations.

This full-scale emergency simulation brought together multiple agencies to test trackside firefighting, safe and orderly detrainment, medical response, and crowd management. A strong example of inter-agency coordination in action.

With Circle Line 6 opening this July, exercises like this ensure we are ready to provide commuters a safe and reliable experience on the Circle Line loop.

Honoured to join fellow transport partners at the NTWU 45th Anniversary Kick-Off Futsal Event this morning.

Our sincere thanks to Acting Minister for Transport, Jeffrey Siow (萧振祥), for taking time to grace the event and for his strong support of our transport workers and the tripartite partnership that underpins Singapore’s public transport sector. His presence reflects the importance of continued collaboration between the Government, unions and operators as we work together to keep Singapore moving.

A special thank you as well to NTWU and Executive Secretary Yeo Wan Ling for bringing the transport family together through this meaningful event. Beyond the friendly competition on the futsal court, the morning provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships, foster camaraderie and reaffirm our shared commitment to serving commuters and supporting our workforce.

Congratulations to NTWU on its 45th anniversary milestone. Here’s to many more years of partnership, progress and making a positive difference for transport workers and the communities we serve.

🎯 Reflecting on the year past. Aligning for the year ahead.

Earlier this week, we came together for our Townhall to reflect on our achievements and lessons learned, while setting the direction and priorities for the year ahead. We were also honoured to have our Chairman and GCEO join us, sharing their perspectives and guidance as we embark on the new year together.

The session provided an opportunity to engage our union leaders, share our workplan, and align on our goals and priorities for the year ahead.

A key highlight of the day was the signing of the Safety Pledge 2026, reaffirming our shared commitment to safety as we move forward together. 🖊️

With a clear roadmap in place, we're excited about the opportunities ahead and the impact we can make as one team.

And of course, it wasn't all work and no play! 🎉 We wrapped up the day at SuperPark, where plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and team bonding strengthened our team spirit and camaraderie.

Here's to a year of collaboration, growth, safety, and success together. 🚀

🌻Kindness makes our 🚇trains and 🚌buses go ‘round! Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Kindness Day booth at 📍Bishan station on 21 May.

With 🦁Singa the Kindness Lion and ’s Kindness Express ambassadors, the Dotties, bringing colour and energy to the booth, we shared simple gracious commuting habits and reminded commuters that small acts of kindness can transform journeys into more pleasant and enjoyable experiences.

We showcased our dementia wayfinding cues, which support commuters with special needs in navigating the station more confidently. Through the 😃games, 🧑‍🎨caricatures, 🎤🎵music performances, and 🎈goodie bags, we hope commuters left with a smile and a stronger awareness that kindness makes a difference to everyday journeys.

Over at Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub, our Buses colleagues showed their support with a Kindness Wall, in partnership with Singapore Kindness Movement. A massive thanks to MOE Kindergarten @ Huamin for the heartfelt notes contributed by their K1 students, who wrote kindness messages to thank our Bus Captains.

Our appreciation to Mr Cai Yinzhou 蔡引舟, Adviser for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC GROs for gracing the event, alongside SMRT management and our valued partners, Singapore Kindness Movement and Dementia Singapore, for their continued support in helping us foster a kinder and more accessible public transport network.

🌻A kinder journey begins with us. This Kindness Month, let us remember that small gracious habits can make someone else’s ride, and day, a little brighter.
