We are delighted to announce our first Sustainability Linked Loan, to
refinance 19 vessels for up to US$140 million alongside an acquisition line of US$20 million to finance potential growth opportunities.

The SLL includes a sustainability-linked margin adjustment with two Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). One KPI is linked to reducing fleet emissions and the second to increasing the number of female seafarers in the Company’s employment.

Congratulations Team BWEK Hikers, for being crowned Champions in the Green Dragon Race! Organised by the The Mission to Seafarers, the team endured a gruelling 9.6km race on Day 1 and 6.8km race and paddle on Day 2, to emerge tops in their category. While it is nice to be crowed first, it is even better to know that they did it as one team, with colleagues cheering them on in spirit from our offices. Well done Min HUANG John Lorenz Quijano and Jacob Ravn Eriksen (叶岩克)!

We are live onsite! The Adventure Race Japan is organised by The Mission to Seafarers, who are on call day and night, 365 days a year, to 1.89m seafarers in over 200 ports worldwide. Over two days, teams will attempt a 17km course which includes demanding ascents of up to 1,000m and paddleboarding along the Izu Peninsular. Jacob Ravn Eriksen, Min Huang and John Quijano are representing BW Epic Kosan - we hope they will find strength in teamwork and collaboration! We are rooting for you!

Today is the IMO International Day for Women in Maritime. Gender diversity is a work in progress in shipping, and we will continue to work towards greater diversity across all aspects at BWEK. Read more about diversity at BWEK on our website: https://lnkd.in/g2ncFxf6

We also thank all colleagues, men and women, who work hard to deliver energy and petrochemicals to world markets safety and cost effectively. But on this day, we shine the spotlight on our female cadets at sea, and commit to providing an inclusive and supportive work environment for them.

Epic St. Martin is looking great with a fresh cost of paint! She completed her scheduled drydock earlier this week at Yiulian Shekou dockyards, on time and within budget. The vessel has also been given a silicon-based fouling defence coating – its high solid content prolongs the fouling free period and minimises hull roughness, which increases efficiency and reduces fuel consumption and emissions. This is one of several initiatives that we are actively pursuing to achieve our Sustainability targets.

We thank Captain and crew onboard, as well as the yard team for their hard work. Epic St. Martin is one of 14 LPG carriers that are scheduled for drydocking in 2023 – busy times ahead, so that we can serve customers with a fleet of safe and well-maintained vessels!

Teamwork makes the dream work! And in this case, it’s three dreams coming true – heartiest congratulations to colleagues from Epic Kosan, and LPG for winning three trophies at the Annual Mariners Turbo Solutions Futsal tournament! Held in Singapore on 29 April, we clinched Cup Champion, Turbo Solution Champion and Best Player of the Tournament. Well done!
