Trek issues voluntary nationwide recall of select Farley models
In coordination with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Trek has announced a voluntary recall due to the possibility of the fork separating from the headset. What to do if you own an affected bicycle:
If you own one of the affected models, please stop riding it immediately and bring it to an authorized Trek retailer.
What Trek will do for owners of an affected bicycle:
If you own a bicycle that is affected by this recall, please bring it to a Trek retailer. The shop will replace your fork at no cost to you. Replacement forks are currently shipping to our retailers and we expect the installation to be very quick. In addition, you will receive a $100 coupon applicable to any Trek or Bontrager product redeemable through December 31, 2017 at your local Trek retailer. This coupon has no cash value.
