Every daily commute is made up of moments like these. It’s not about rules or expectations, it’s just about looking out for one another.

Our Bus Captains may be the most familiar with the roads, so in a twist, we asked our Technical Specialist and Service Controllers a fun question: If you could drive any bus service, what would it be?

Beyond bringing commuters safely to their destinations every day, our colleagues have personal connections and favourite memories tied to specific routes across the island.

We’re pleased to mark another milestone in our longstanding partnership with NTWU, with the signing of our new Collective Agreement. 🤝

We’ve been listening closely to feedback from our commuters and colleagues on the ground in Tampines. We know that some journeys have not been as smooth or reliable as they should be, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused. We want to share the concrete steps we’re taking to strengthen our services as well as support for our bus captains.

🚌 More support for our bus captains
Our former and experienced bus captains are providing mentorship and guidance to newer bus captains, helping them become more familiar and confident with the routes and roads in Tampines. They’re also there to share their experience and lend a helping hand as colleagues adjust to the new services.

👥 More support on the ground
We’re reinforcing our presence at interchanges and key bus stops so that our teams can stay closer to our services, support our bus captains, and respond more quickly when assistance is needed.

💚 Looking after our people
Our BC Care Team is also providing care packs and refreshments to bus captains on duty, as we recognise the importance of supporting our frontline colleagues through this transition.

These are part of our ongoing efforts to deliver safer, smoother and more reliable journeys for commuters in Tampines.

We apologise once again for the inconvenience caused and thank commuters for their patience and feedback as we continue to strengthen our services for the Tampines community.
