Known for endurance, hardiness and teamwork, the husky is a fitting name for an MR tanker serving the demanding product and chemical trades.
On 16 July, HUSKY, a 50,000 DWT oil and chemical tanker, was delivered and sailed for Singapore to begin her working life under Synergyโs technical management, joining the worldโs largest third-party-managed tanker fleet.
She is the sixteenth of eighteen vessels in a newbuilding programme supported by Synergyโs newbuilding and site teams. HUSKY will operate under the Synergy Pacific DOC, with shore support from colleagues in Pune.
From construction, testing and sea trials to operational management, continuity matters. In chemical tanker operations, disciplined tank preparation, cargo segregation and precision from loading through to final discharge are fundamental.

Our thanks to the owner, Synergyโs newbuilding site office and colleagues across the Group who helped bring HUSKY safely through construction and delivery.
To Capt. Rajesh Somanathan, Chief Engineer Anuj Singhal, and the officers and crew of HUSKY: safe voyages and every cargo handled with precision and care.
