👀 Rare Mercedes Spotted in Singapore!

Our BlackVue dashcam caught an unusual Mercedes travelling on our roads today… just not under its own power. 😄

OEM or Aftermarket? After-Sales Support Matters.

This customer’s OEM dashcam developed a fault after its warranty had expired. According to the customer, the option offered was to replace the complete system rather than repair it.

He decided to install a BlackVue dashcam instead — seen here alongside the original OEM camera.

One advantage of choosing a dedicated dashcam brand is continued product support.

🤔 Left or Right? Which Signal Would You Trust?

This trailer was turning left at the junction — and its front indicator was correctly blinking left.

But look closely at the rear… 👀
The right indicator was blinking instead!

A small electrical or wiring fault can send a very confusing message to other road users.

A good reminder to check your vehicle lights and indicators regularly — especially before hitting the road.

⚠️ What Happened Before This?

From a distance, our dashcam captured a man kicking a BMW door twice before the vehicle drove off.

We don’t know what happened before this moment — whether it followed a road incident or another disagreement — so we won’t speculate.

Whatever the cause, don’t let emotions turn a road dispute into a confrontation.

Stay calm. Stay safe. Let the proper authorities handle the rest.

Sometimes, what happens after an incident can make things much worse.

⚠️ Sometimes, It’s Better to Stay Behind.

The signs already say it — lanes merging ahead.

This lorry signalled and attempted to overtake, but quickly ran out of road as the lanes merged and had to pull back.

Saving a few seconds isn’t worth squeezing into a disappearing gap.

Read the road ahead. Be patient. Merge safely.

⚠️ A Shortcut Isn’t Worth the Risk.
This dashcam footage shows an elderly pedestrian initially using the designated pedestrian crossing, but leaving the crossing partway to take a shorter route.
It may save a few steps — but those few steps could come with a much greater risk.

According to Traffic Police, elderly pedestrians remain one of the most vulnerable groups on Singapore roads. In 2025, they accounted for 75% of pedestrian fatalities, with jaywalking remaining a serious concern.

Our reminder to everyone, especially our seniors:
❤️ Use designated pedestrian crossings
👀 Stop, look and stay alert
🚦 Follow the crossing all the way to safety
🚗 Motorists — slow down and always look out for vulnerable pedestrians
