We were delighted to welcome personnel and officers from and for a Learning Journey at our Sengkang Depot! 🚆

We were honoured to have Mr Alvin Yeo (Division Head, CX & Ops) and Mr Edwin Mong (Head of Department, Pway), share their career journeys and experiences in the rail industry. Having previously served in MINDEF, both leaders provided valuable insights into career transition opportunities and professional growth within the rail sector.

During the visit, participants gained a behind-the-scenes look at our rail operations. They toured the Rolling Stock Workshop to see how trains are inspected and maintained, explored the Permanent Way track trolley, and experienced real-world operational scenarios through our Rail Training Simulator. 🔧 These hands-on activities offered a deeper appreciation of the expertise and dedication required to keep our rail network running safely and reliably.
The group also visited Sengkang Station, where they learned about the roles and responsibilities of our Customer Service Officers and Station Managers, and the efforts that go into ensuring smooth, safe, and seamless journeys for commuters every day. 🚉

Thank you for joining us and taking the time to discover the people, processes, and technology behind our rail operations. We hope the experience provided valuable insights and inspired new possibilities for your future career journey with us! ✨
