How much of a discount would convince you to attempt this? 💀

We can plan 10 jobs perfectly the night before, and by the next morning, the whole schedule can change.

One move takes longer than expected. A lift breaks down. It starts pouring. Traffic builds up. Lorry broke down. A customer has more items than originally declared. Someone calls in sick. And suddenly, a team that was supposed to reach the next job at 2pm is running behind.

Of course, from the next customer’s point of view, all they see is: “My movers are late.”

And we understand that.

But moving is one of those businesses where there are a lot of moving parts - literally and figuratively. We’re dealing with people, homes, traffic, buildings, weather and sometimes situations nobody could have predicted.

That doesn’t mean customers should simply accept poor service. If we mess up, we should own it. If there’s a delay, we should communicate it.

We just hope people remember that behind every move are humans trying to get through the day too.

Some days go perfectly.

Some days… everything decides to happen at once. 😅

Accurate details = accurate quote. No last-minute surprises for anyone 😳

Trolley count doesn’t mean “surprise price on moving day.”

We still provide a close estimate based on the items you declare. The final count only changes if the actual moving volume turns out to be different.

Fixed price gives you one confirmed amount.
Trolley pricing gives you an estimate with flexibility.

Either way, accurate inventory = fewer surprises. Because your “just a few extra items” may have brought friends. 👀

Behind the scenes of setting up another warehouse.

A lot more planning, measuring, painting and heavy lifting than most people would expect.

Common sense, but sometimes it’s the small details we overlook.

Lvl 5 → Lvl 1 = 4 levels of stairs, not 5.

At $10–$20/level, no big deal. But for heavy items like pianos at $50–$100+/level, and both locations have stairs, you could unknowingly overpay $100–$200+ just from miscounting. 💀

Sometimes even movers count wrongly. 😂

Every question has a purpose.

Lift, stairs, parking, long push… these aren’t random questions. They directly affect the cost, time and manpower required.

Better information = Better quotation.
