World Tankers Management Pte Ltd (WTM) was established in Singapore in 1993 by the Haji-Ioannou family, prominent Greek ship owners who have interests in ship owning, airlines and property. Starting as in-house ship managers, exclusively managing assets controlled by Polys Haji-Ioannou, we currently manage 'Aframax', ‘MR’ product and chemical tankers up to 110,000 MT deadweight each. rs a range of third party management services to select Owners wishing to partner and place their assets with us. At World Tankers Management, the full range of Technical, Marine Operations, Crewing and Commercial Management is handled both in Singapore and in conjunction with our offices in Mumbai, for Crewing, and London, for Chartering and Insurance. The Singapore Head Office employs a team of qualified and experienced staff who are encouraged to continuously upgrade their skills and performance, through company sponsored studies and training, throughout their careers. We believe that extensive experience in combination with our rigorous risk assessment protocols and our ‘Partnership’ management operational philosophy, makes WTM the shipmanager of choice for owners who are serious about having their assets operated safely. We firmly believe that it is not the size of your shipmanager that matters, it is the competence and attitude. WTM was the first Singapore company to obtain ISO 14001:2004 accreditation from Lloyds Register and the first to introduce a class approved Water Ballast Management System. We are a member of the Singapore Shipping Association. We are a full and active member of Intertanko. We are a Marine Partner of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology. WTM currently owns a fleet of 18 vessels which are totally or partially owned. All the ships have modern facilities and Wi-Fi.
