They are the ones holding a trembling hand, monitoring the vital signs of life, and administering care that pulls patients back from the brink.

​The Multitasking Real-Life Heroes: Some of these nurses are students burning the midnight oil to earn their qualifications; some are mothers and fathers rushing home after a gruelling shift to care for their own families, balancing the heavy emotional weight of healing strangers with the tender love of parenthood.

​What does this have in common with private hire vehicle (PHV) and ride-hailing drivers?

Just like nurses, drivers navigate the pulse of the city day and night. They safely ferry exhausted healthcare workers to their dawn shifts, transport vulnerable patients to their medical appointments, and hustle tirelessly through peak hours to provide for their own families. Salam Everyone... Alhamdulillah ​another month, another meaningful session of brotherhood, laughter, and good food!

​Being a Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) driver on the roads of Singapore is no walk in the park. Long hours on the road, navigating peak-hour traffic, and managing different passenger expectations can take a heavy toll physically and mentally. That is why our monthly makan-up is more than just sharing a meal—it is a much-needed pit stop to pause, catch our breath, check in on how everyone is doing, and share important industry updates.

​Beyond the Screen: Why Face-to-Face Interaction Matters

​Lately, we’ve seen how much damage can be done out there through online typing, social media keyboard warriors, and hasty public judgments. It is so easy to judge, cancel, or post negativity about someone behind a screen without knowing the full story or considering the human being behind the wheel.

​Online text lacks tone, context, and empathy, often leading to unnecessary misunderstandings, hostility, and real-world disasters for individuals who are simply trying to make an honest living despite being imperfect human beings who make mistakes.
