On 8th of December 2025, we temporarily changed the control of the Danish loop to a digital supported one. Beside the Danish NOHAB, a German class 232, nicknamed 'Ludmilla' from Erfurt and a German class 24, nicknamed 'Bubikopf' are giving support to pull the various cars. All locos have been modified, hardened and upgraded in Singapore to meet the standards of this year's train show at GardensByTheBay's FlowerDome. Enjoy ...

On 5th of December 2025, we finally could start with the Danish NOHABs at this year's train show at GardensbyTheBay's FlowerDome. The black-red class MY is pulling a freight train, consisting of freight cars with some of them carrying the emblems of 60th anniversary of Singapore-Danish diplomatic relations. Also, the timber transporting freight cars show the name of one of Denmarks biggest timber companies. Enjoy ...

On 23rd of November 2025, the first day for this year's train show at GardensbyTheBay's FlowerDome, we made a 'long train endurance test' with a German class 218 and 15 modern freight cars at the Danish track loop to check the sturdyness of the selected rolling stock. The train is reflecting a typical commissioning as it runs between Denmark and Germany.
See in the video the fiercely fighting diesel loco, which was built beginning of the 1960s. This will not be the final test run. We plan for another long-train run-test end of this week with an updated controller and the promised NOHABs, which you see at the explanation boards, opposite the layout at the main walkway.

For this year's train show at GardensbyTheBay and SG60 jubilee, we were honored to build a real operational MRT train in big garden train scale, with the friendly support of SMRT Corp and GardensByTheBay. All is going well so far and the model has already proven its sturdyness. Nevertheless, we built a 2nd train now as even the best train needs regular maintenance and we want to provide the same to number 1.
We share with you here the final test run of that 2nd MRT train at our train lab in Gambas/Sembawang ... before leaving our Gambas depot. Enjoy ...
