Big news for everyone planning their next quick getaway to Batam and Karimun! 🌴🚢

The countdown is on—in just 2 DAYS (7 July), the brand-new Singapore Cruise Centre terminal at HarbourFront is officially opening its doors! 🥳✨

Here is what you can look forward to at the new terminal:

➡️ Super Fast Check-in: No more waiting in long lines just to get your physical ticket. You can now use one of the 25 automated self-service kiosks and 6 baggage drop counters!
➡️Biometric Immigration Clearance: Singapore citizens and PRs can zip through border control using facial biometrics—no passport scanning required at the automated lanes.
➡️ Yummy Grab-and-Go Bites: Grab a quick snack before you board with plenty of options like Subway, Old Chang Kee, and 7-Eleven.

⚠️ Take note of the moving dates:
🗓️ From 7 July: Batam Fast Ferry moves into the new building first. 🗓️ From 15 July: All other ferry operators and cruise operations will move over.

📍 Where is it? It’s the new red building just 70m away from the existing terminal, easily accessible via sheltered walkways from HarbourFront MRT Exit B or VivoCity.

We’re moving to a new terminal! 🚢

The HarbourFront Passenger Terminal is heading to a new facility, just 70 meters away from our current location!

We are moving into a beautiful new space that blends form and function. With a fresh red terracotta façade and modern, technology-enabled passenger services, we are committed to making your travel experience better than ever. Plus, you’ll be able to enjoy a scenic stroll through our connection to the HarbourFront Promenade—perfect for a pre-departure walk toward Labrador Park.

All cruise and ferry services will shift to the new terminal in a phased transition, and we look forward to welcoming you to our all-new facility very soon!

🚨 Important Transition Dates:
• 🚢 Batam Fast Ferry: Starts operating from the new terminal early on 7 July 2026.
• 🛳️ All Other Services: Will migrate when the terminal fully opens on 15 July 2026.

Are you Ready For It?🎸 We're excited that Swifties across Indonesia are taking the ferries from Batam to our HarbourFront Terminal to catch the iconic singer-songwriter in her Eras Tour in Singapore!

Some fans outside of Singapore plan to stay in nearby Batam and JB to save on transport and hotel costs. Read more at straitstimes.com.

We welcomed ultra-luxurious cruise ship Silver Moon’s maiden call at our international Passenger Terminal (IPT) in the morning of 28th March. Silver Moon is part of the Silversea Cruises’ fleet.

To commemorate the occasion of its maiden call at Singapore Cruise Centre, SCCPL’s Chief Executive Jacqueline Tan did a plaque exchange with Silver Moon’s Captain Chavdar Georgiev to mark the occasion, along with Singapore Tourism Board and Port Agent Cambiaso & Risso.

At 40,700 gross tons, this 213-meter long ultra-lux vessel with a capacity of 596 passengers, joined the Silversea fleet in 2021. Silver Moon is part of a fleet of 4 other Silversea’s vessels calling at Singapore Cruise Centre this season. The others were Silver Muse in Nov 2023, Silver Whisper’s 2 calls in Nov 2023 and March 2024 – and Silver Shadow’s upcoming call in March 2024.

Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC) will undertake a $20 million upgrade of Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT) to modernise its facilities, enhance passenger experience and position for growth.

Passengers will be able to look forward to future self-service kiosks for seamless, contactless check-in, bag drop and boarding by Jan 2025.

The terminal will also be getting an updated look, a larger passenger departure area as well as other amenities including more F&B outlets.

The year-long renovation will be done in stages to minimise inconveniences to the users of our terminal. Ferry services to and from Batam, Bintan, Desaru and Tanjung Pengelih remain unaffected.
