On Vesak Day, I enjoyed a lovely day at 16HH with fellow brothers and sisters, celebrating a significant event in our spiritual journey. A wonderful lunch was prepared by Sally, which was followed by a fruitful discussion and sharing session. The day commemorates the life, death, and enlightenment of Guatama Buddha, who laid the groundwork for understanding our karmic nature and the trials of human life. Like a farmer planting seeds, Guatama Buddha set the stage for our self-realization and potential salvation. In contrast, Buddha Maitreya represents the harvest of these seeds, with both events being pivotal to our ultimate salvation, despite occurring at different times.

Be the simple and beautiful person like Maitreya.
Be the Filial sons and daughters of LauMu.
Obey heavens order like Maitreya.

Over the weekend, MGD from Taiwan successfully wrapped up the Zoom lecture series. The 2-day event featured inspiring and motivational lectures by HGM and HTs, which were shared worldwide. I feel privileged to have attended and learned more. We were all particularly fortunate.

Dao cultivation requires self-awareness of one's rights and wrongs, followed by corrective actions to attain a higher moral standing, akin to embodying the virtues of Maitreya, or simply put, becoming a "beautiful" person. Despite attending numerous lectures on cultivation, many of which lack clear guidance on where and how to begin. These teachings often barely scratch the surface of Dao principles, necessitating personal reflection to identify and rectify our flaws. As taught in MGD morning prayers and pledges, we must recognize and shed the undesirable traits that LauMu never intended for us to have. Our gratitude goes to our elders, whose wisdom has illuminated the cultivation path for us.

Communicate with Maitreya daily, anywhere and everywhere, for he is with you and in you.
Heart to heart connection is the essence of MGD cultivation.
You do not need a statue nor a book of him with you.

Yet, you can be happy, in all circumstances, like him.
You can be contented, like him
You can be benovelence to all , like him.
You can be simple in action but big in compassion like him.

This is the real Maitreya, our greatest saviour and leader to bring us home to LauMu.
Trust in him for he is with you always!!!!
