We are a Ship Management company based in Singapore & Mumbai (India). We are having our own office in Mumbai for crewing and ancillary support. We are currently manning 10 ships including passenger ships & tankers and fully managing 4 tankers out of the Singapore office. One Indian registered chemical tanker is being fully managed out of our India

The Team:

Mr. K.Srinivas Patnaik: MD & Technical

Has more than 20years of combined sailing and shore technical management experience with reputed ship owners and managers. Has been a technical manager operating about 20ships at any given time and has been directly managing all kinds of tankers (Petroleum & Chemical & LPG) and dry cargo ships (Cape size, Panamax, Handymax, Box shaped). Has excellent relationship with various shipyards all over the world and experienced in handling major repairs to hull, propeller, crank shafts and rudders/carriers etc. First hand experience in handling the TMSA (Tanker Managers Self Assessment) requirements and effectively clearing vetting inspections with excellent results


Mr. Sudeep Shome: Director & Crewing

Has more than 20years of combined sailing and crew management experience. He had set up Indian office for D'Amico tankers and headed the operations for more than a decade. He has an exclusive database of officers and crew in India, Philipines, Indonesia, Russia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Pakistan. He has an excellent track record and very good retention rate. Mr Sunil Babu: Technical Superintendent

Has 20years of combined sailing and shore experience. Has been a Technical Superintendent for close to 5years and has been managing tankers, bulk carriers and other cargo ships. Has extensive experience in drydocking and major repairs. Created the planned maintenance system for the company and has been involved in creating the technical procedures of the company. Capt K.V.Krishnan: Operations & Quality Assurance

Has 30years of combined sailing and shore operations experience. He has been involved with tanker and bulker operations ashore for the last 8years. He has been involved in creating & implementing the SMS systems for many years. Risk assessment and Root cause analysis have been his strong assets and has been instrumental in creating the company's SMS systems. Capt Kushal Mitra: Operations & Quality

Has 12 years of combined sailing experience on chemical tankers, product tankers, offshore vessels and shore based operations. He has vast experience in handling Oil major vetting inspections, sale/purchase, dry docking and ISM implementation. He shall be leading the company’s safety management system implementation and ensure that it is properly functional. Capt Santanu Ghosh: AGM, Fleet Personnel & Quality

Has combined sailing and shore experience of 18years. He has been associated with training of sea farers and crafted several customized training programs for post sea students. Very dedicated and passionate with regards to training. Mr Ethan Chan: Purchase Executive (Technical)

Has been working with reputed ship management companies and handling purchase and contracts for the past 10years. Has been working with Singapore Navy and well versed with several softwares and planned maintenance systems. Mr K.R.Chidambaram: Accounts Manager

Has been working with reputed ship management companies and has varied experience of over 25years with regards to contracts and accounting systems. Ms Nancy Chan: Accounts Executive

Has been working for shipping companies has over 30years of working experience in different positions in accounts management. Well versed with the accounting procedures and preparing variance reports as required by the different owners


Ms Sandhya Jaiswal: Legal & Public Relations

Approvals:

Company's Interim DOC has been issued by DNV for the following flags:
1) Singapore, 2) Panama, 3) Liberia
for the following types of vessels:
1) Bulk Carrier, 2) Oil Tanker, 3) Chemical Tanker, 4) Other cargo ship, 5) Passenger High speed craft
Please be advised that we can get DOC for other flags as well if there is a need. We also have Indian DOC issued by DG Shipping India and Malaysian DOC from Malaysia Marine. Our India office is called APAC Marine Services Pvt Limited and has the Indian DOC.

Operations:

We have prepared simple flow charts for the taking over process of a vessel either New building or Change of Management. We have checklists that encompass the several aspects and parties involved because it is very important that we donot miss out anything. All our ship management activities are simplified into such flow chart formats for good order sake and easy reference for proper follow up. We have created some very innovative processes for ensuring that the ships are taken care of very well inspite of the present manning concerns that exist all over the world.

Planned maintenance system is customized to suit vessel requirements. Accounting systems and procedures parallel to industry standards. Incident reporting and defect handling are very effective. This is going to be an ongoing scenario for many businesses. Imagine what will be the condition of the proposed 450workers, as the worldwide industry is going through the same and highly likely that they will not get a job of their own expertise for many months. What do they do in the interim?
