During our Vehicle Leasing Townhall on 27 July, the team visited the SMRT Kaizen Centre and SMRT Rail Safety Experiential Centre (SRSEC) at Bishan Depot. A big thank you to our SMRT colleagues from Kaizen Office and Group Safety & Security for hosting us. 😀

The visit offered valuable insights into how continuous improvement, innovation, and a strong safety culture drive operational excellence. From embracing Kaizen principles (Good Today, Better Tomorrow) to reinforcing the importance of Think Safety, Work Safely, Go Home Safe, the experience inspired us to continuously learn, improve, and put safety at the heart of all we do.

This week, our Vehicle Leasing and Automotive Services teams held respective townhalls to celebrate our past year successes and align our strategic direction ahead. It was a great opportunity for colleagues to strengthen bonds, exchange ideas, and align on the journey ahead. 🤝🚗🔧

We also took another important step in our Service Transformation journey, reaffirming our commitment to delivering our best service through our core values of HELP (Heart, Empathy, Learn, and Partnership). ❤️🤝 Together, each member pledged to put people at the heart of everything we do by signing on our Service Promise Board.

It was a privilege to meet BYD Founder, Chairman and CEO, Mr Wang Chuanfu, during his recent visit to Singapore. ✨🌟

On 24 July, Strides Premier CEO Ang Wei Neng, alongside SMRT Group Chief Business Development Officer Goh Eng Kiat and our limousine driver partner, John, had the opportunity to engage with Mr Wang and exchange insights on innovation and mobility. 🚘

Since adding the DENZA D9 to our limousine fleet in September 2025, we have remained committed to delivering refined, comfortable and premium travel experiences for our clients. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership and driving excellence together. 🤝

In March 2026, Strides Premier implemented a temporary increase of $0.01 to the distance-time rate for all metered trips. This measure was originally intended to be in effect until 31 July 2026 and has now been extended to 30 Sept 2026.

The full amount collected from this adjustment will be passed directly to driver‑partners to help offset higher fuel expenses. We remain committed to ensuring that the needs of both our driver‑partners and commuters are carefully balanced as the situation evolves.
