Jurong Port | Singapore's Gateway for General and Bulk Cargo | Headquartered in Singapore, Jurong Port is a leading international multipurpose port operator.

Established in 1965, the port initially served Singapore’s Jurong Industrial Estate. Jurong Port has since expanded to serve as Singapore’s main general and bulk cargo gateway. Jurong Port’s multipurpose port operating expertise includes efficient handling of general, bulk and containerized cargo, management and operations of the Tuas Offshore Marine Centre, and Lighter Terminals in Penjuru and Ma

rina South. Besides Singapore, Jurong Port is involved in overseas joint ventures in China and Indonesia. In 2016, Jurong Port’s local and overseas terminals handled close to 35 million tons of general and bulk cargo, and 560,000 TEUs of container cargo.

Having worked at Jurong Port since he was a teenager, Mr. Shahnavas Mohd Mustafa recently celebrated his 51st work anniversary, marking over half a century of valuable experience at Jurong Port.

Along the way, Jurong Port’s support which includes recognitions, a positive work environment, financial support, career advancements and the opportunity to further his studies are some of the factors that has encouraged Mr Shahnavas Mohd Mustafa to step out of his comfort zone and grow. At the age of 69, he is now leading the operations department as the operations planning manager.

He shares that the organisation’s unwavering support in his journey serves as a motivation for him to contribute to Jurong Port for as long as he can. He has received the “Long Service Award” for his steadfast dedication to the organisation.

We are happy to collaborate with TFG Marine, Pavilion Energy and CBS Ventures on the first LNG refuelling of bunker vessel MT Diligence at our Homeport. JP continues to support the maritime industry by being the preferred port infrastructure for multi-fuel bunkering including LNG truck-to-ship bunkering. This operation also marks the inaugural vessel cool-down services conducted at JP.

Our Story

Jurong Port is a world‐class multipurpose port operator serving as Singapore’s premier gateway for general and bulk cargo. Its port operating expertise includes efficient handling of general, bulk and containerised cargo, management and operations of the Tuas Offshore Marine Centre, and Lighter Terminals in Penjuru and Marina South as well as overseas ports in China and Indonesia.

In 2019, its Jurong Port Tank Terminals joint venture successfully commenced operations in Singapore to store and handle clean petroleum and petrochemical products. Jurong Port caters to regional and domestic markets across diverse industry segments which includes construction, shipbuilding, offshore, transport, logistics, petroleum and manufacturing industries. Jurong Port’s local and overseas terminals handled a total of about 37 million tons of general and bulk cargo and over half a million TEUs in 2018. Amongst others, Jurong Port won the Lloyd's List Asia Pacific Port/ Terminal Operator of the Year Award in 2018 and the National Infocomm Award for Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology (Private Sector) in 2016.
