Jurong Port | Singapore's Gateway for General and Bulk Cargo | Headquartered in Singapore, Jurong Port is a leading international multipurpose port operator.

Established in 1965, the port initially served Singapore’s Jurong Industrial Estate. Jurong Port has since expanded to serve as Singapore’s main general and bulk cargo gateway. Jurong Port’s multipurpose port operating expertise includes efficient handling of general, bulk and containerized cargo, management and operations of the Tuas Offshore Marine Centre, and Lighter Terminals in Penjuru and Marina South. Besides Singapore, Jurong Port is involved in overseas joint ventures in China and Indonesia. In 2016, Jurong Port’s local and overseas terminals handled close to 35 million tons of general and bulk cargo, and 560,000 TEUs of container cargo.

FY2025 was a special year for Jurong Port as we marked 60 years of enabling Singapore’s development through our port activities and ecosystems. And we’re still building what comes next!

We’ve captured some of our key milestones and plans in these sketches, reflecting how JP continues to evolve as a next generation multipurpose port:

🏗️ Growing our Ready-Mixed Concrete Ecosystem - Singapore’s largest single-site batching facility by production capacity.

⚓ Expanding our Cement Terminal - A fourth berth and more storage capacity to support future demand.

🏭 Advancing Steel Handling - Developing high-intensity, advanced Steel Terminals with our steel partners.

🔗 Connecting the Construction Ecosystem - Our Integrated Construction and Prefabrication Hub (ICPH) will bring precast production, storage and related activities together from 2027.

🌱 Growing Sustainably - 17 GWh of guaranteed annual solar generation across the port, with plans to extend this to our future ICPH.

Together, these developments take us beyond the waterfront, connecting port capabilities with the industries and ecosystems that enable Singapore.

This morning, we came together with community partners, Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore - MPA and PSA Singapore, to continue our beach clean-up for the second year, collecting a total of 474kg of waste from our shores!

This is a challenge that cannot be solved alone. Beyond the 474kg collected, it’s about coming together as an industry to take action for the environment we share and the communities we are part of.

We hope to keep this momentum going, year after year, and continue turning collective action into meaningful impact for our shores.
