Established in 2000, Furen International School (FIS) is a Private Education Institution (PEI) registered under the Committee for Private Education (CPE) of Singapore which was appointed by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Board in October 2016 to carry out its functions and powers relating to private education under the Private Education Act. Our campus is situated a short and convenient 6-minute wal

k from Sembawang MRT Station and is very accessible via public transport. Situated atop Admiral Hill and covering 5.6 hectares, the fresh air, beautiful scenery, gardens and available amenities create an ideal study and living environment for students. The school grounds consist of 6 blocks of which one of them is a national monument, the Old Admiralty House. This old colonial house with its distinctive red tiles and white columns was built back in 1939 and was originally the British Naval Headquarters, used by the Royal navy Officers until the 1970s. We provide preparatory courses for students taking Cambridge IGCSE, Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level, CIE A-Level and Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level examinations; in addition to Cambridge Lower Secondary. To further enhance our courses, we also provide IELTS and ACT programmes. A firm believer in strong academics going hand-in-hand with personal development, we arrange and strongly encourage our students to attend external events and activities such as the annual Youth Environmental Summit, Leadership Camp and regular voluntary visits to Food Bank. Furthermore, we have various student clubs such as Debate Society, Drama Club, Dance Club and the International Youth Club to name a few. We are also the first and only private school in Singapore to have Boys and Girls Brigade! FIS provides a total education package that incorporates strict academic rigour with character development, enhancing your chances of getting into the tertiary institute of your choice upon graduation.

MY FUREN, MY HOME.
Chủ đề “My Furen, My home” là một video được tạo bởi các học sinh Furen của chúng tôi. Nhiều học sinh đến từ các đất nước khác nhau phải rời xa Cha Mẹ đến Singapore, 1 đất nước mới lạ, Furen trở thành ngôi nhà thứ hai của họ.

Video này thể hiện vẻ đẹp của trường và đưa ra thông điệp trong trái tim của học sinh. Âm nhạc phía sau với những tấm ảnh của trường mang Furen chạm gần tới trái tim của mỗi người. Furen không chỉ tập trung vào việc học tập mà còn giúp học sinh khám phá tài năng của mỗi người. Video này là sáng kiến và sáng tạo của họ.

Furen luôn khuyến khích học sinh phát triển bản thân hơn nữa, trở thành những người tự tin tỏa sáng. Chúng tôi tự hào giới thiệu sự sáng tạo của học sinh và chúng tôi tin rằng mỗi học sinh đều có khả năng đó.

MY FUREN, MY HOME
Introducing “My Furen, My home”. A homemade video created by our own Furen students. Many foreign students staying aboard away from their parents, in an unfamiliar Singapore, Furen becomes their second home.

This video showcases the beauty of the school and brings out the message in the hearts of the students. The music at the background with shots of the school brings Furen close to heart. Furen not only focuses on the student academics but also helps to discover the talent in students. This video was the initiative and creativity of the student themselves.

Furen allows students to develop into confident adults who shine through and become the best version of themselves. We are proud to showcase the work and creativity of our student, and we believe that every student has the ability to RISE ABOVE THE ORDINARY!
