— Day 3 of our Lapland journey 🇫🇮✨ —

Some dreams feel unreal until the moment you’re actually living them.
On the morning of Day 3, we headed near Santa Claus Village for something we had been excited about for weeks, a snowmobile ride through the Arctic forest. Layer by layer, we prepared ourselves with thermal shoes, thick gloves, and heavy overalls. It took nearly two hours before we were finally ready. The anticipation was building with every zipper and every glove pulled on.
A bus took us deep into the forest, where we received our instructions. The engines started. The silence of the snowy woods slowly blended with the sound of adventure beginning.
And as always, I embraced my role as the passenger princess while my husband drove our snowmobile forward into the white wilderness 🤍
For nearly two hours, we rode through snow-covered forests that looked like pages from a fairytale. Tall trees stood heavy with snow, and sometimes the wind would shake their branches, sending soft white powder falling gently over us, like nature was blessing our journey.
It was cold, but none of us felt it. The excitement, the adrenaline, the pure joy, it was stronger than the Arctic air. We kept saying, “If we had more time, we would do this all over again.”
At the end of the ride, we were welcomed with warm berry juice and ginger biscuits, standing there, holding that warm cup in freezing air, smiling without even realizing it.
Some adventures don’t just give you memories.
They give you moments that stay in your soul. ✨
