Travel through Europe in 2020, and beating the Covid-19 pandemic

August 12. We have landed at Arlanda Airport and are back in Sweden. We made what we had planned to do. Not without obstacles, but we made it.

August 12. We have just taken off for our last leg. In 3 hours we should be in Stockholm.
I think they have checked our temperature 10 times in the last 24 hours. No fever detected.
Our last leg is with an Airbus 321NEO, and there computers seems to be a bigger problem than smoking. First time I have seen that sign.

August 11. Our first leg on our trip back to Sweden. The plane left as scheduled. Plane was full, but I was impressed by the busses to the terminal. They only accepted few passenger and they had desinfection available on the bus.
Now we have 12 hours in Istanbul!

August 10. Part of our trip to northern Cyprus made it to the local newspaper. The article is not only about our trip but we are mentioned in the article.

July 25. We made it. We are now in North Cyprus!

July 25. After 15 days on Crete are we on our way to Cyprus. We flew to Athens and have changed to the plane to Larnaca. If everything goes as planned will we get to North Cyprus in a couple of hours.

July 24. We now have the result from our Covid-19 test. Negative.
We now have to complete our Cyprus Flight Pass and we should be ready to fly to Larnaca, and onwards towards North Cyprus tomorrow. We have never been closer.

July 23. PCR test done. Now we are waiting for the result.
Our doctor might look both nice and competent, but that was not my feeling about him when he but the stick in my nostril. He pushed it all the way down to my throat. At that moment I thought of him as a mean and younger relative of Dr Mengele. It was not nice!
But I guess he did it exactly like it should be done.

July 17. We have left Chania town and moved to Maleme and are now at the beach. Still no clarity if we can pass the land border between Southern and Northern Cyprus.

July 13. It seems like the border between the southern and northern part of Cyprus has been closed for most people without a citizenship of Cyprus. It looks like we need to prepare for plan C2. That means to fly via Istanbul. But we will wait a few more days before we will decide how to proceed.
