Current trail conditions: spring easing into summer. The fresh greens are getting deeper and more vibrant by the day and a few cherry trees are still holding onto their blooms. It’s cool and shady under the trees but if you find a sunny spot to lean back and chill for a bit, the warmth hits juuuuuust right.

Be sure to bring SPF, a hat and an extra water bottle. Hajk on!

Pick up your ingredients at Basecamp, packed in a classic apple crate (soon to be marked with Bruno), then fire up the grill and cook your dinner in the outdoor kitchen.

Starter – grilled asparagus from Österlen with parsley pesto, tomatoes, and burrata

Main course – grilled sirloin steak with charred tomato salsa and grilled corn with Västerbotten cheese

Of course the menus can be adapted to suit allergies and preferences.

Dig in and relax.

When we say our camp is hidden deep in the forests of Österlen this is what we mean.

We don’t have an address.
When you book you’ll get coordinates to the nearest road. From there our signs will guide you through the woods to the parking spot. The final part of the journey continues on foot to the camp. See you at Basecamp!

FAQ: Are dogs allowed?

YES! Hajk loves dogs and dogs love Hajk. Due to muddy paws we add an extra cleaning fee.

The first few weeks have brought beautiful spring days filled with sunshine. “But what if it rains?”.

Don’t worry! We built the camp with the Swedish weather in mind. Light the fire, listen to the rain, and enjoy your company. We’ve got warm blankets and hot tea. And of course, bring clothes suited for the weather.
