Marylebone Station, London, 02/06/2026

Opened in 1899, Marylebone Station is the youngest of London’s historic mainline railway termini and one of its most elegant. Built by the Great Central Railway as its London terminus, the station is known for its distinctive red-brick Victorian architecture and more intimate atmosphere compared with London’s larger railway hubs. Much of its original character has been carefully preserved, making it a favourite among railway enthusiasts and visitors alike.

Today, Marylebone is the principal London terminus for Chiltern Railways, which operates services to destinations including Birmingham, Oxford, Banbury, High Wycombe, and Aylesbury. The station is also served by London Underground’s Bakerloo line, continuing its role as an important gateway between London and the Midlands.
